student magazine evaluation georgia perfitt
TRANSCRIPT
The audience for my media product are students from year 9 upwards.
To attract/address my audience is by adding the things they requested in the questionnaire (for example a problem page and puzzles). The front cover tries to grab their attention by having young people, who are the target audience, promoting the magazine. My magazine also does this through the use of articles and language which I believe would attract the target audience. This connects very well with the survey I carried out.
My magazine front cover uses typical features of a real magazine as labelled. It tries to develop the idea of a school magazine further by using typography in the masthead which looks like school writing. The main image is focused on school students and tries to achieve a positive look for the magazine which a target audience can relate to.

My magazine represents a young student target group in a positive way this is achieved by showing young students happy and ready to learn.
My magazine might be distributed by a school as it includes things to attract students. However, it doesn’t include the information that is necessary wanted or needed by the school.
