OverviewA school management system (SMS) is a Web Application for education establishments to

manage student data. Also known as School Information ManagementSystem (SIMS).

SIMS is built mainly on Microsoft SQL Server with some components using flat files to store data.SIMSprovides a suite of software covering all parts of a schools' administration, from behaviour andachievement, planning curriculum and lesson structures, dinner money, educational learning plans, datasharing for the 14-19 agenda, managing registration and admissions, and providing teachers, parentsand pupils access to all this information over the internet through a Microsoft SharePoint basedwebpage.

helps schools manage student registration and truancy, student performance, personalizedlearning, exam organisation, timetable construction, cover management and a range of other schoolactivities

maintains real-time information to support schools in conducting regular and comprehensive self-evaluations, target resources, support personal development, promote achievements and share goodpractice

enables teachers to access information, analyse and input pupil data through the use of integrateddesktop tools

provides web access through the SIMS Learning Gateway, which allows teachers and parents toaccess the data in SIMS from home.

The Techsan SIMS helps the School to regularly keep in touch with the parents about therechild's exam results, special functions, Holidays, attendance & his over all performance.

It also conveys details regarding holidays, special events, parents meeting & extra curricularactivities to the parents instantly.

The parents will become more responsible as they get regular update about there child.

The Schools responsibility towards a child will get reduced as parents take more attentiontowards there child.

• For Students -Students can view all there results through internet as soon as it is announced.

They can get the intimation about special events like sports, Holiday, cultural events &excursion as soon as it is announced.

All the queries regarding certificates, Marks Card can be given through mail and a copy willbe sent to him instantly through internet.

• For Parents -Parents will regularly get the details about Parents Meeting, Results, Cultural function, fee,excursion & special events as soon as it is announced.

If parents require any detailed information about there child,they can place a request throughmail and will be sent to them within 12 hours.

Every parent is given a login id so that they can view there child's result and overallperformance.

Administrator LoginThis Login is be maintained by school administratorwho has all privilege of data access. Create, modifyand delete of data can be done only by using adminlogin. Creating class names, subjects to respectiveclass by using masters.Teacher, student, clerkRegistry login creation can be done by admin withtheir respective details of individual teacher,student, clerk. Student/Parent LoginStudent user id and password are given to their respective parents where they can see their Childrenperformance and attitude and remarks given by there class teacher and examination schedule.
