Profile

• Prasetiya Mulya Business School (PMBS) is the pioneer of the MBA program and the leading business school in Indonesia.

• The school was established in 1982 by prominent business leaders in Indonesia, with the aim to service as an excellent center of learning for business leaders, professionals and entrepreneurs.

• PMBS also has been the member of AACSB, AAPBS and APICS, as well as member of US-Based Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM).

• In 2009, PMBS became the first winner of Global Social Venture Competition, UC Berkeley-USA, competing with more than 150 MBA teams worldwide. Since then, PMBS regularly sends teams to the competition.

Off Campus Rental • Locate near campus, about 20 minutes walking • One occupant in one room (air conditioning, personal bed,

cupboard, desk, bathroom in each room) • Pantry and common room • Internet WIFI connection • Security • Cost from IDR 1.800.000 to IDR 3.000.000/month or USD 125 to

200/month There are also apartment rental options around campus. Normally, each apartment is fully furnished with TV, AC, washing machine, refrigerator. Facilities such as mailbox, car park, laundry. Cost from IDR 8.500.000,-/month or USD 590/month

Expenses (estimation)

• Housing expense: USD 125 – 200/month for off-campus rental (or USD 590/month for apartment rental option)

• Meals and food expense: USD 200/month • Personal and incidental allowances: USD 100/month Approximate total for 1 semester (4 months): USD 425 – 500/month x 4 = USD 1700 – 2000 (Note: with the off-campus option for housing)

Before Departure

Apply for visa: - ‘Limited Stay Visa’ (or VITAS) is highly recommended for

international students who wish to participate in the student exchange program

- It is advisable to process the visa application 2-3 months before arrival

Preparation: - Inform the Student Exchange Officer your arrival date and time,

transportation will be provided - Classroom attire: casual (short, t-shirt, and slippers are not allowed

in the classroom). Please bring also a business suit for class presentation, if applicable. Note: Indonesian climate is hot and humid (tropical climate) almost entirely.

- Students are recommended to bring their own laptop. - Electricity: 220V/50Hz
