Navigating NearpodSigning In and Student Access

Signing In with Nearpod• All teachers have been uploaded into

Nearpod.• There are no "classes" to upload. When

students need to access your lesson, they will simply go the Nearpod website and input the code you provide for them.

• To sign in and create your first lesson, do the following:

• Go to Clever.com• Find the Nearpod app

Why Re-Create the Wheel?• Nearpod has a lesson library aligned

to Georgia and national standards.• In addition, there is a library of

publishing partners like Desmos, ReadWorks, CK-12 (science), LearnZillion and more.

• Any of these lessons can be added to your personal library (My Library), and customized for your lessons.

What about lessons I've already created?• You can take any lessons you've already

created (in PowerPoint, PDF, etc.) and upload them into Nearpod to create an interactive lesson!

• Add interactive Nearpod activities within your existing slides to create engaging lessons for students!

• You can also add INDIVIDUAL slides from PowerPoint (if you don't want your entire presentation). Here's how!

Now, let's add some engaging content!When you create a Nearpod lesson, there are several options for content

you can incorporate:• Content:

• Nearpod slides• Flocabulary videos!• 3D activities• PhET simulations• Desmos graphing calculators• More!

• Web content (a link)• Videos – NEW – add questions directly to videos to assess understanding!• Activities:

• Collaborate board• Draw It!• Matching pairs• Time to Climb game• More!

Making your lesson live• Once you've created and saved your

lesson, it's time to teach!• Go to your lesson library, click on Live

Lesson.• Student-paced for digital learners is

available as well!

• Then have students go to nearpod.com and use the code that's on the screen.

• That's IT!
