New Resources

New TutorialWIDA has posted a new tutorial: Additional Materials Orders that offers training on managing and placing additional orders.

Supplemental Training Materials

Although annual retraining is not required, for those Test Administrators who will administer the paper based test, a refresh is strongly encouraged.

WIDA offers Supplemental Training (in addition to online training) for the Speaking test. The supplemental training includes:• speaking tasks from this year’s test• model responses• student responses at all score points for all grade level clusters • Test Administrators have the opportunity to rate student responses and check

score explanations to build their confidence as they prepare to administer and score this year’s Speaking test

• continued training helps maintain rater reliability

Time to Order

The ordering window for ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 is: November 13 – December 8 You should have received an email from DRC on November 6th with detailed

instructions. You will order materials at: www.wida-ams.us. You will order by school, so begin collecting order numbers now. You must place an order for both online and paper. If you do not order during this window, you will not receive materials in the initial

order. You will have to order in the Additional Materials window which is January 9 – March 16, 2018.

Pre-ID labels will be printed. Now is the time to update the information in INOW. The pull will take place on November 15th.

Scantron Performance Series

• Fall testing window closes this Friday (November 10).

• Braille and large print were delivered last week.• Winter testing window opens December 1 and

closes on February 21.– Testing is optional.– No accommodations (including Braille and large-

print forms) will be provided because this is an optional administration.

• Preparation for spring administration:– Chalkable/iNOW issues and students in the

Scantron site– Ed Dir issues and teachers in the Scantron site

• Change in roles for spring administration—Only System Test Coordinators will be assigned as Location Controllers

– Scored the same as online exams– Using an external scoring program—same

computations• How will growth be measured if computer in

AAA Updates• eDirect Enrollment Process - Example

• Log into eDIRECT• Navigate to Materials > Enrollments.• Select Administration from Dropdown.• Select District and School from Dropdowns.• Select Show Enrollments button.

AAA UpdatesCompleting the Enrollments Grid

• Enter the number of students that need each type of paper material in the Enrollments Grid. Order only the number of materials needed. 10% overage will be added to the final shipment.

• Click the Complete button when all the enrollment information has been entered.

• Click the Save button to save the information that has been entered and continue working at a later time.

• All enrollments must be marked Complete by the end of the Enrollment window, even if no materials are needed. Boxes may be left blank – “0”s do NOT need to be entered when no materials are ordered.

• All Braille orders will also include a corresponding set of general materials.

is an example of the style of the enrollment page, as it appears in eDIRECT.
