in a nutshellMy job is to create logos for startups, craft websites for local businesses and illustrate using my digital tablet.

But for real this time! What do i really do?I am passIonate about desIgn for real lIfe. I thrive when helping people. When I can sit down with folks who might not yet know what they want – but after talking with them and understanding who they are, I get to become a part of tellIng theIr story – and find out why they got into that business to being with.

When I’m at work, I’m not just designing logos – I am creating a language of engaging visuals to broadcast ideas. It’s like being the in-between, or the translator of sorts – between the restauranteur, and a website with an awesome menu.

So I set up systems both online and in print that work together as part of that identity, solving logistics and communication problems and providing streamlined user experience. I belIeve desIgn Is an IncredIble tool, and It’s my mIssIon and joy to use this gift to help people communicate.

When off dutyI’m a tried and true Star Wars fan, video game modder, LEGO collector, costume guy, board game concept artist, and all around nerd. I live in vacationland in southern Maine with my beautiful wife, Ashley, and take walks on the beach in summertime as often as possible.
