We have successfully completed projects for a wide range of clients in both the public and private sectors throughout the Northwest and beyond. PACE Engineers, Inc. completes a broad mix of project types and sizes in various market sectors including public works, industrial, ports, architectural, commercial, institutional, as well as contractor and vendor services. Project work includes new buildings, improvements to existing buildings, transit facilities, water treatment facilities, hydraulic structures, single-span bridges, park structures, site structures, seismic certification, and installation of mechanical equipment and utilities. PACE Engineers, Inc. has an immediate opening in our Lake Oswego Structural Group. What position we need: Structural Design Engineer - multiple positions and experience levels. Future team members may apply at: http://bit.ly/Struc_DesEng_LO What you’ll be doing: Contribute to the business development program Participate in the design and management of projects from beginning to end Coordinate with PACE team members, other consultant partners and clients to verify project requirements and goals Perform structural analysis and design with concrete, steel, masonry, timber and other materials of construction Manage the work of junior engineers and structural technicians Stamp project reports, drawings and calculations with QA/QC input from principal engineers Perform or supervise construction phase services What we are looking for: • 4-10 years experience in structural engineering Proficient with current building code and design standards Competence with Excel, RISA 3D, RAM Steel, and/or other structural analysis software Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential An attitude of client care, ownership in one’s work & the commitment to quality work What educational background you will need: BS Degree - Civil Engineering; emphasis in structures PE License; SE or intent to earn SE License What we’re offering: We offer the ability to grow in your profession and advance your career within the supportive and empowering culture of a medium-sized multidiscipline consulting firm.
