1. Introduction

During the period of August 24,2006 and October 19,2006 an overburden stripping program was carried out on the Dore Township properties of Mr. Don McKinnon. The work was performed on the southern part of claim3013056, the northeastern part of3002417 and the north central part of claim 3002416. The area involved lies between UTM coordinates 381000 to 387000 East and 5297000 to 5293000 North (Zone 17, NAD 83).

The Dore Properties lie within the Swayze greenstone belt and cover parts of two long formations of steeply folded felsic to intermediate metavolcanics which cross the township in a direction of between 80° AZ to 95° AZ. These formations have near vertical dips and are separated by and bounded to the north and south by mafic to intermediate metavolcanic sequences. The area has been explored by a number of individuals and companies since the early 1930's and several gold occurrences have been discovered, including the Kenty Mine in the northeast comer of Swayze Township and the Annie Kenty showing next to it in Dore Township.

The properties consist of three claim blocks each of which is contiguous. For the purpose of this report, they have been designated as "Block A", "Block B", and "Block C". The results of the stripping program on each of the blocks has been described separately in the report.

The purpose of the present program was the exposing of bedrock surface along the contact zones between felsic and intermediate metavolcanics in order to assess their potential as hosts for mesothermal gold deposits or volcanogenic massive sulfide deposits.

The exposed bedrock was mapped by the writer during the period of October 23,2006 to October 25,2006. The work is described in the report and presented as "Fig. 3" (Block A), "Fig 4" (Block B), "Fig 5" (Block C Area 1) and "Fig 6" (Block C, Area 2). An outline of the geological environment and the local geology is included along with the results of the work program.

Property Description. Location and Access

The McKinnon Dore Township properties consist of three claim blocks. Block A in the northwest quarter of the township contains seven claims, a total of 81 units covering 1298 hectares of area. It lies within UTM coordinates 5296400 to 5300100 North and 380000 To 387000 East.

Page 4: STRIPPING RPT DORE TWP - Ontario · stripping program was carried out on the Dore Township properties of Mr. Don McKinnon. The work was performed on the southern part of claim3013056,

2. Block B is in the eastern part of the township lying near its north-south medial

line. It contains three claims a total of 48 units covering 768 hectares of area. It is within UTM coordinates 5293900 to 5295800 North and 385400 to 399100 East.

Block C is in the southwestern quarter of the township and crosses its western boundary into Swayze Township. It contains five claims totaling 71 units which cover 1136 hectares of area. This block lies between coordinates 5291300 to 5294000 North and 379000 to 384600 East.

All three claim blocks are in Dore Township (G1102) in the Porcupine Mining Division of northeastern Ontario.

The properties are located approximately 125 km southwest of the city of Timmins and 70 km west ofthe Town of Gogama (Fig. 1). They can be reached by traveling westward on Highway 101 from Timmins for 95 km to the Foleyet Timber road which crosses Highway 101. 'From this point, the gravel surfaced secondary road leads southward. At a distance of 57.6 km (mileage 36), it reaches the Dore Road. Several logging roads branching offthe Dore road provide access to all three claim blocks.

An alternative access route from Sudbury would involve using Highway 144 and traveling northward to the junction of Highway 667, a distance of 149 km. From this point, the Sultan gravel surfaced road leads westward and crosses the Dore road at a distance of 60 km. Twenty km to the north, this road enters Dore Township.

Nov 27,2003 Nov 27,2006 $ 12000 3.

The Dore Township properties of Don McKinnon lie within the Swayze greenstone belt which is a part of the Abitibi Subprovince of the Precambrian Shield. The Abitibi Subprovince makes up the largest part of the Superior Province which is the largest Achaean craton in the world comprising 23 % of the exposed Achaean crust.

The Swayze greenstone belt is bound to the north by the Nat River granitoid complex, to the west by the Kapuskasing stnictural zone, to the south by the RamseyAlgoma granitoid complex, and to the east by the Kenogamissi granitoid complex. It is connected to the Abitibi greenstone belt to the east by a narrow band of metasedimentary and metavolcanic rocks. The Swayze belt lies within an area of 80 km from north to south and 90 km from east to west.

Mafic to intermediate metavolcanics and synvolcanic intrusives make up the major part of the lithology of the greenstone belt. These consist of massive, pillowed, pillow breccia and amygdaloidal flows. In the western part of the belt which contains Dore Township, these units have a general strike of east-west (900 AZ) and a steep near vertical tip.

Several large sequences of felsic to intermediate metavolcanics also occur within the Swayze belt and consist of massive to pillowed flows and pyroclasitics. In the west, these sequences form the central core of the belt.

Chemical metasedimentary rocks consisting of iron formations and older sequences of clastic metasediments occur within some of the metavolcanic sequences within the Swayze belt. Younger sequences of clastic rocks uncomfortably overlie the older sequences.

These supracrustal assemblages are correlative with the assemblages of the Abitibi belt.

The Swayze greenstone belt contains a number of gold and base metal occurrences which are recorded for a variety of geological settings generally within extensive east-trending alteration and deformation zones. This belt has a high potential not only for meso thermal gold deposits but also for V.M.S. deposits and mafic intrusive or ultramafic extrusive nickel-copper deposits.

4. Local Geology

In Dore Township, the metavolcanic formations have a dominant east-west strike and are tightly folded. A synclinal axis crosses the central part of the township which is occupied by a mafic to intermediate sequence of tholeiitic metavolcanics consisting mainly of massive and pillowed flows. This belt is about four km wide.

The mafic sequence is flanked to the north and south by felsic metavolcanic formations each of which has about the same width and stratigraphically underlie it. These are mainly massive flows containing narrow belts of tuffs and irregular sections of fragmentals.

Several small bodies of both ultramafic intrusive and porphyritic rocks occur within the felsic sequences of meta volcanics. They are usually elongated in the direction of the regional strike (900 AZ).

Within the central mafic sequence are a number of ultramafic (Komatiite) interflows, particularly in the southern half of this belt.

Most of the metavolcanics display a well developed schistosity parallel to the general strike of the major rock units. The formation of serecite and chlorite is generally common.

A large north-south fault crosses Dore Township near its central axis. It has a strike of350° AZ in the south changing to 3400 AZ in the north with a large horizontal displacement of about two km; the eastern side having moved northward. There is a smaller fault to the east which has a strike of335° AZ and a similar displacement (east side northward) of a few hundred metres.

Stripping Program

The stripping program began on August 23,2006 with the mobilization of a Caterpillar Excavator 225 and a Bombardier Muskeg Tractor equipped with a detachable back-hoe to the eastern part of claim 3013056. The former was contracted at a rate of $85.00Ihour and the latter at a rate of$120.001hr including operator and fuel. The machines were floated up to the property along with 2 Mark III Wajax pumps, and a Bombardier Trackster 500 4 wheel drive ATV including necessary tools, hoses and attachments. The float costs were $90.001hr and the ATV was rented out at $50.00/day.

On Block A, a large irregular area was stripped between UTM coordinates 381280 to 381370 East and coordinates 5296820 to 5296910 North (Zone 17, NAD 83). For description, these strips have been designated as Area 1, Area 2, Area 3. A total length of 125 metres of bedrock was exposed at an average width of 16 metres and an average depth of one metre. Approximately 0.29 hectares of area were exposed and the amount of material moved was in excess of2800 m3 (cubic metres). The exposed rock was

On Block B, three areas of differing sizes were stripped between UTM coordinates 386410 to 386500 East and coordinates 5295640 to 5295780 North (Zone 17, NAD 83). The totai stripping distance was 185 metres at an average width of 13 metres. Approximately 0.24 hectares of area were exposed to an average depth of one metre and the amount of material moved was in excess of 2300cubic metres. The following hours were accumulated on the equipment. Excavator - 180 hours, D6 and D3 141 hours. This area is shown in "Fig. 4".

On Block C, two areas were stripped between UTM coordinates 3837901 to 383890 East and coordinates 5293080 to 5293490 North (Zone 17, NAD 83). The total area stripped was about 0.26 hectares to an average depth of one metre. The volume of material moved was in excessof2500 cubic metres. The following hours were accumulated on the equipment. Excavator - 192 hours, D6 and D3 -128 hours These areas are shown in "Fig. 5" and "Fig 6"

Results and Recommendations Block A

The following is a geological description of the bedrock exposed during the mapping of Block A. Five metavolcanic units have been identified and are shown in "Fig. 3". From south to north these are:

1. Felsic metavolcanic, generally massive, fine to medium grained, buff coloured, some foliation and alteration to serecite, highly sheared in places with oxidation, secondary chlorite and iron carbonate.

2. Felsic fragmental (volcanic breccia), pink to white felsic clasts in a greenish chloritized matrix, foliated, fractured and microfolded in places. Some sections highly oxidized in shears and fractures.

3. Intermediate metavolcanic, fine grained, dark green, massive, highly foliated and chloritized, unmineralized.

4. Felsic Tuff, fine grained, well laminated with some ofthe bands being highly oxidized.

5. Felsic metavolcanic, fine to medium grained, containing some fragments, buff to reddish brown, highly foliated, sericitzied, streaks of iron carbonate, oxidized streaks and blotches.

Page 8: STRIPPING RPT DORE TWP - Ontario · stripping program was carried out on the Dore Township properties of Mr. Don McKinnon. The work was performed on the southern part of claim3013056,

6. In all these units, the foliation and shearing appear to confonn to the fonnational

strike (between 100° AZ and 120° AZ). An exception might be the western end of the tuffoceous belt where the strike is difficult to determine.

The western end of the intennediate unit "3" is at cut offby a fault which has a strike of 33° AZ.

It is recommended that all sheared areas and areas containing quartz stringers with oxidization be channel sampled using a diamond bladed saw and assayed for gold content. This would require some 15 metres of channel on Area 1, 5 metres on Area 2, and 30 metres on Area 3, at one metre intervals. A minimum of 50 samples should be obtained for assay.

Results and Recommendations Block B

The following is a description of rock types observed during the mapping of the exposed bedrock on Block B. It is presented in "Fig. 4".

Area 1, the largest stripped, contains a felsic to intennediate metavolcanic which is fine to medium grained and generally massive. It is weakly to moderately foliated and altered mainly to serecite. Concordant lineation in the northern part of the area could indicate a tuffaceous horizon. South of this line, the metavolcanics appear to be more felsic.

This area contains a number of small faults in its northeastern sector and some chloritic shears in its southern sector. Both of the features comfonn to the direction of foliation which is about 105° AZ. The eastern end of Area 1 contains several zones of fracturing or shearing with red oxide seams, buff carbonate alteration and, in some cases, quartz veining.

Area 2 to the southeast of Area 1, contains an intennediate to felsic metavolcanic (dacite?). It is medium grained, weakly foliated and altered to serecite and chlorite. Concordant oxidized fractures and shears occur in some places and a small fault cuts across the northern half of the area at 105° AZ (possibly same set as Areal).

Area 3, to the southwest of Area 2, is more mafic in composition and contains three distinct units. The northern unit is mainly massive mafic metavolcanic altered to chlorite and containing patterns of oxidized fractures. The southern unit is intennediate (andesite?) fine grained, weakly foliated and altered mainly to chlorite. It contains compressed pillows and has a few fragments near its northern contact. These two units are separated by a fine grained laminated tuffaceous horizon about two metres wide. A small fault cuts the western side of the area at 45° AZ.

Page 9: STRIPPING RPT DORE TWP - Ontario · stripping program was carried out on the Dore Township properties of Mr. Don McKinnon. The work was performed on the southern part of claim3013056,

7. Recommended channel sampling on this block would include 15 metres on Area

1,10 metres on Area 2 and 5 metres on Area 3. A minimum of 30 samples, at one metre intervals, should be obtained for assay. Again, a diamond bladed saw should be utilized.

Results and Recommendations Block C

Block C was stripped in two widely separate places. These are presented in "Fig 5" and "Fig 6" and are designated as "Area 1" and "Area 2".

Area 1, located at the northern edge of claim 3002416 is the most promising area of exposed bedrock observed during the mapping period. The northwestern segment contains a well foliated medium grained felsic metavocanic, highly altered fractured and intensely oxidized. The south eastern segment contains a fine grained felsic fragmental well foliated and altered to buff carbonate and iron oxide. The contact has an approximate strike of 90° AZ: Three mineralized shear zones concordant to the formation strike and the foliation cross the area.

Area 2 is located to the south of Area 1 and consists of a large featureless mass of mafic metavolcanic. The southern part of the area is fine grained and contains fragments while the northern part is medium grained and massive. The two sections are separated by a fault which has a strike of about 100° AZ.

It is recommended that channel sampling, using a diamond bladed saw be done across the entire section exposed in Area 1. Sampling should be done at one meter intervals and these samples should be assayed for gold content. This would require some 30 metres of channel and a minimum of 30 samples should be obtained for assay.

It is also recommended that further stripping be done in "Area 1 ", extending the exposed bedrock to the north and south.

Respectfully submitted,
