Only a finger-swipe: Controlling a domestic stove by smartphone and app

That is smart: an electronic control system delivers all of the data to the app.

A small control light under the fireplace illuminates as soon as the oven is

in operation and flashes slowly when wood needs to be added. The actual

controls are done via smartphone or tablet and an app. This app has been

specially developed for the new stove line and can be controlled intuitive-

ly via a simple menu guidance.

The electronic assistant delivers information on the operating perfor-

mance and operating state, room and oven temperature in eight addi-

tional languages other than in German. The operator chooses between

three different performance levels and the system ensures the optimum

air supply and temperature. All of which translates into environmentally

aware and economical heating - all at the swipe of a finger. And that is

possible from the comfort of the sofa.

You need three things for a cosy fireplace blaze: The right amount of

fuel, the optimum temperature in the combustion chamber and the

correct level of air supply. Which all sounds fairly simple.

With the operating concept of the SEO, we have revolutionized oper-

ation of the stove - the first stove of this kind. This concept is based

on interactive control via smartphone or tablet. The stove is equipped

with the new Neo Control System. This balances and matches all three

factors perfectly: Fuel, temperature and air supply - during the heating

process. The manual air lever is no longer required at all so that con-

trolling errors can be eliminated.

H 2OIM A G I N E Y O U R H O T W A T E R C O M I N G F R O M T H E S T O V E .

Of course, not directly, just figuratively. The beautifully visible stove fire heats

the “cold” water from the tank via the water heat exchanger integrated in the

stove. Subsequently, the hot water is sent back to the tank. As such, the water

in the house can be used locally either via the heating device, the underfloor

heating or when having a bath/taking a shower.

In addition to heating up the water, the stove also gives off pleasant heat to

the room.

A LITTLE FIREWOOD – HUGE BENEFITS

With only 2.0 kg/h of firewood you can keep a living room of 73 m² in

a KfW 70 house at 20°C: the cosy heat of the stove makes it possible.

In addition, the water heat exchanger can be used to:

• raise a 300 l accumulator tank from 40° C to 55.4 °C water tem-

perature in or

• shower for 8 min with a water temperature of 39°C or

• run one 140 l bath with a water temperature of 39°C.
