Stop Loan Sharks Community Funding 2019-2020 The England Illegal Money Lending Team (IMLT) has funding available for groups that want to raise awareness of the issues of illegal money lending. The money available has come from the proceeds of crime taken from convicted illegal money lenders. The aim of this funding is to give groups the opportunity to raise awareness of the issue, in their community in a different way. Projects must encompass four aims which include - innovative, community engagement, impact and legacy. The deadline for submission of applications is 30 th June 2019. Please send applications to [email protected] v.uk This weekend sees the launch of the Royal Enfield Showcase in the Kingfisher Centre. The company have chosen Redditch, the birthplace of Royal Enfield, for the European launch of their brand new, futuristic, 2019 Bullet Trials bike. The European press will be attending over the course of the weekend to get a glimpse of the new bike and this event really could put Redditch, Worcestershire and the West Midlands on the map. Over the course of the following six weeks, the shop opposite Clinton Cards will take the form of a pop-up museum, allowing visitors from across the UK (and the world) to experience Royal Enfield: Past, Present and Future. We would like to make this event and the six week showcase as successful as possible, so do help by sharing news articles, social media posts, pictures from the event and even how fantastic it is by word of mouth. We are also looking to gather memories of Royal Enfield, past and present whether ex-factory workers or motorcycle enthusiasts if you work with anyone who might be interested or have a story to tell, please pass tell them to get in touch.
