Parent Guidelines to Access Google Classroom

Access Glow Platform:glow.rmunify.comSign in using your child’s glow username and password:

(This login information should be found on the first page of your child’s diary)

Once logged in a page similar to the example shown below should be seen:

Click on the Google Classroom tile:

You should now have access to either Early/First Level Classroom or Second Level Classroom:

Click on the classroom that is available to your child.

Steps if no Second Level or Early/First Level does not appear:

As your child has not logged onto Google Classroom in school they will have no classes to access.

At the top right hand corner there will be a + click on this and select Join Class.

For Early/First Level enter code: caw2g7w For Second Level enter code: dt426snClick on the classroom that is now available to your child.Now you will see the main page (stream) of your child’s Google Classroom:

To access learning activities/materials click on the Classwork tab:

Once clicked this will allow you access to overall learning activities and your child’s specific class folder:

Materials have been uploaded that you and your child can access.If web links are written and highlighted in blue, they can be clicked on and will take you directly to the web page the class teacher would like you to use.

Extra support:If Google Classroom is still not working check that your child’s Glow Account has signed in properly to Google Classroom.Click on the circle in the top right corner that should have a letter in it:

When this is clicked a small window below it should appear. This should show who is logged into this Google Classroom.If it does not show your child’s Glow username (gw…) then you should click add another account:

It will ask for an email address or possibly a number.

Type in your child’s Glow unsername followed by @sl.glow.scotYou should then be redirected to the Glow sign in page for you to put in your child’s Glow username (DO NOT USE THE @sl.glow.scot for this sign in) followed by their Glow Password.

This should now give you access to your child’s Google Classroom, but you may still have to Join the Class using the code from the previous step.😊
