Special Awards

David was an outstanding candidate for Head Boy at Stockport School. During the selection process, his mature attitude and confidence shone through, making him a firm favourite very early on. He not only delivered an inspirational presentation to staff and students, but also re-iterated his strengths in his Head Boy interview, where he presented his vision in a sure but friendly tone. Impeccably dressed at all times, David goes above and beyond in his commitment to the school and excels academically and in performing arts, to name but a few of his talents. Coupled with his genuine concern to bring out the best in his peers and younger students, and his desire to see Stockport School continue to progress, we know he is the right man for the job and are excited to see him grow in his new role!

Cerys is the ultimate role model for Stockport School. Her genuine passion for all things creative was clear from her initial presentation and she wholeheartedly throws herself into Stockport School life, not just artistically, but also as a keen member of the D of E team . An excellent public speaker, who communicates with confidence, she has already proved that she can take on addressing audiences of staff, students and parents and tackle any task required of her in her role with real commitment. This boundless enthusiasm for the job is one of the things that impressed us in her interview as she shared her vision to help Stockport School on its journey to “Outstanding.” Cerys is not afraid to stand out and make a difference, and leads by example in both uniform and attitude at all times. We are looking forward to seeing her in action this year!
