NETWORK is pleased to welcome Alan Tomblin as the new President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NETWORK, effective November 1, 2016.

Tomblin joins NETWORK after serving 35 years with Procter & Gamble in various sales and marketing leadership roles. For the last eight years, he has led the North American Commercial business of P&G Professional. This role covered a range of market segments including: hospitality, foodservice, healthcare, and retail. Under his leadership, sales growth for janitorial and laundry products was above annual market rates. In addition, Tomblin has served on the ISSA Board of Directors since 2007, most recently as President. In response to his new role, Tomblin said “NETWORK has established a track record of very successful growth in the marketplace, and I am excited for the opportunity to lead this well-respected organization and its team.”

Upon arrival at the Toronto Botanical Gardens, guests will be greeted with a light refreshment and treated to a classroom-style demo with world renowned Director of Horticulture, Paul Zammit. After Mr. Zammit’s Demo, each attendee will get their hands dirty and create a spectacular fresh centerpiece with Paul’s guidance.

GUEST OUTING

Our guests’ hard work will not go unnoticed as each centerpiece will be transported back to the Four Seasons and displayed on the tables at the Awards Dinner that evening and later donated to the local Cancer Hospital.

Guests will be led to the Garden Terrace after their floral arrangements are complete where a catered lunch from a local favorite will be served. After lunch, guests are free to roam about the Gardens until the scheduled bus departure at 2:30pm.

Mr. Abner currently serves as Chairman of the Board for the National Coalition of Public Procurement (NCPP), an organization committed to promote the highest level of business ethics, best practices, and standards to serve the procurement needs of government, education and non-profit agencies across the country.

Mr. Abner also serves as Board President for Gabe’s My Heart “Chemo Duck.” Chemo Duck, a nonprofit organization, collaborates with child life specialists and medical professionals to provide education and support to children and families going through cancer treatment.
