Mistral USV Description

• The Mistral USV is an advanced unmanned platform featuring the Stiletto M-hull Technology, user-friendly control interface and composite material

• The Mistral USV’s double M-hull shape provides unprecedented efficiency, stability, & payload for a variety of missions. The monocoque, composite construction allows flexibility to carry modular sensor packages, supplies and/or equipment on standard 463L pallets or ISU60 containers.

• The Mistral USVs Command & Control (C2) system uses a smart, self-tuning autopilot designed to simplify operations with autonomous features for coordinated operations, fail-safe scenarios and pre-programmed objectives.

• The Mistral USV is propelled by two, widely spaced waterjets driven by conventional twin diesel engines with a range of over 500 nautical miles.

Select Unmanned Features •  Semi-autonomous - automatically following a preplanned mission with human intervention

as required. •  Manual - full remote operation (fully manual i.e. docking) •  Pre programmed Loss of Comms plan in the event of Link loss, Vessel returns to safe

location either route retrace or direct vector •  In either of the autonomous modes, updates to the mission may be made at any time. •  The command and control system operates on dual fully encrypted frequencies offering

redundancy and security or non-encrypted UHF RF link for line-of-site operations •  There is the option of using multiple Ground Control Stations to increase the range of USV

operations. The on board Command and Control Module communicates in full duplex mode over both frequencies, significantly increasing data throughput and bandwidth in transmitting and receiving data.

•  The USV maintains full preprogrammed control routines in the event of a failure in one or both of the radio links.
