• Code establishes controls for movement Hazardous Substances from STFC sites.• It also provides guidance for on site movement of

hazardous substances.

• It does not apply to disposal of wastes.

• Code addresses requirements of relevant road, sea and air transport legislation:• for example the Carriage of Dangerous Goods and

Use of Transportable Pressure Equipment Regulations, 2009.
