Chronic stress leads to pain and fatigue. It also increases immune-mediated inflammation activating inflammatory chemicals, which affect the brain and evoke feelings of malaise, sickness and tiredness (Graham et al., 2006; Ho et al., 2010). O stresse crónico conduz a dor e fadiga.

Two of the consistent effects of Aeon patches have been reports of more energy and less pain.

“Chronic (daily), subclinical (invisible) inflammation sustained over a lifetime is the underlying cause of aging (Pugliese, 1991).”«A inflamação crónica (diária), subclínica (invisível) mantida ao longo da vida é a causasubjacente do envelhecimento (Pugliese, 1991).»

Silent persistent inflammation is responsible for many of the chronic diseases of aging.

Chronic and continuous inflammation creates oxidative stress, immune system breakdown and communication errors where the body loses it’s ability to distinguish normal cells from foreign invaders.

When this occurs the body’s immune system will attack both healthy and injured cells, which will eventually lead to organ damage (Sinatra, 2004).

Page 11: Steve haltiwanger Aeon

“Cumulative oxidative stress is believed to play a major role in the process of cellular aging (Zhou et al., 2008).”«Crê-se que o stresse oxidativo cumulativo tem um papel importante no processo de envelhecimento celular (Zhou et al., 2008).»

Chronic inflammation and oxidative stress causing lipid peroxidation (damage to cellular membranes) characteristically increase with age and are important factors in creating organ dysfunctions (Csiszar et al., 2007).

To me this means that using strategies to correct these concerns will be very beneficial in reducing cellular damage and organ deterioration. Fibrinogen, a protein made by the liver, may rise sharply in any condition that causes inflammation or tissue damage.O fibrinogénio, uma proteína produzida pelo fígado, pode subir

These conditions cause 60% of the deaths in the elderly.Estas condições causam 60% das mortes dos idosos.

Page 19: Steve haltiwanger Aeon

High fibrinogen levels can cause a heart attack or stroke via several mechanisms, including increased blood clots and excessive blood thickening.

The New England Journal of Medicine studies showed that those with high levels of fibrinogen were more than twice as likely to die of a heart attack. lef.orgOs estudos do New England Journal of Medicine demonstraram que as pessoas com elevados níveis de fibrinogénio tinham mais do dobro das probabilidades de morrer de ataque cardíaco. lef.org

A team of scientists in China compared fibrinogen levels in two family groups, 7 families with a history of long life, compared to 9 families with traditionally shorter life expectancies.

The scientists concluded that low plasma fibrinogen levels are correlated with longer life (Wang, et al, 1998).

The level of lipid peroxides is a measure of cellular membrane damage caused by the action of free radicals (Miquel et al., 1998).O nível de peróxidos lipídicos permite medir a lesão na membranacelular devido à ação dos radicais livres (Miquel et al., 1998).

The elevation of lipid peroxides is an early warning of the potential long-term effects of oxidative stress.

The outcome of long-term oxidative stress is chronic degenerative disease (Halliwell et al., 1993).O resultado do stresse oxidativo a longo-prazo é a doençadegenerativa crónica

Y-Age Aeon Basic Protocol

Rotate through the point locations shown, using an Aeon patch 5-7 days per

week. The recommended point locations for Y-Age Aeon follow, but you can

experiment with these point locations for Y-Age Glutathione and Y- Age

Carnosine as well.

Option 1: Conception Vessel 6 (CV6)

Location: On the midline of the abdomen,

1.5 cun (the length of the index and middle

fingers) below the belly button.

Option 2: Governing Vessel 14 (GV14)

Location: At the base of the back of the

neck, where the C7 vertebra protrudes if

you tuck your chin to your chest

Page 37: Steve haltiwanger Aeon

Option 3: Kidney 3 (KI3) Location: In the

depression just behind the inside ankle

bone

Option 4: Large Intestine 4 (LI4)

Location: On the back of the hand, in the

web, on the bone of the index finger

Option 5: Liver 3 (LV3)

Location: On the top of the foot, in the

web of the big toe

Y-Age Advanced Protocols and Combinations

Aging is a complex process resulting from a number of different factors.

Therefore, an effective anti-aging strategy must be a comprehensive one that

tackles the various causes of aging. Each element of the Y-Age system is

designed to provide its own unique anti-aging benefit. Using these patches in

combination with one another enhances the affects of each individual product

and provides a more complete defense against aging.

Keep the following guidelines in mind when combining Y-Age patches:

Frequency of Use

• Y-Age Glutathione – Five to seven days per week

• Y-Age Carnosine – One to three days per week

• Y-Age Aeon – Five to seven days per week

Wear any TWO patches together on any day of the week on any TWO

recommended Y-Age patch locations. Use muscle testing to determine the

placements and patches that work best for you.

Page 39: Steve haltiwanger Aeon

Note: Some people experience strong detoxification symptoms when wearing more than one Y-Age

patch at a time. Additionally, some people experience feelings of fatigue when wearing Carnosine or

Aeon during the day. With Aeon, this often occurs because the patch has shifted the Central Nervous

System to the parasympathetic. If you fall into this category, you may want to consider taking Aeon off

for a few hours and wearing Carnosine in the evening only.

Y-Age 7 Day Protocol

Alternatively, you can choose to follow the recommended Y-Age protocol below

for combining all the Y-Age patches.

Glutathione and Aeon should be worn during the day (12 hours), seven days per

week. Carnosine should be worn at night only; seven days per week.

Energy Enhancer & Y-Age Aeon

In the following protocols, the Energy Enhancer patches promote the flow of

energy through the body; while the Aeon patches balance this flow of energy

and promote and anti-stress response.

Combining Y-Age Aeon and IceWave

If you do not find pain relief with IceWave alone, you can try applying an Aeon

patch at the midline of the body to enhance the effects of IceWave. This applies

whether you are dealing with all over body pain or with a specific area of pain.

To use this approach, first apply IceWave according to one of the basic

protocols found in the IceWave brochure (i.e., Clock Method, Bracketing Method

or one of the placements for whole body pain). Then apply an IceWave patch at

one of the recommended points below:
