What is a stereotype?
A stereotype is a characteristic associated with a group of people. At the simplest level, they are an easily grasped characteristic that is presumed to belong to the an entire group:e.g. Black people can run really fast, or rich people are greedy.
The characteristic does not always have to be negative, such as:Asians are really smart, or the French are excellent cooks.
