STEPS FOR ACCESING COURSE CONTENTS FOR IST YEAR STUDENTS IN MOODLE & IMPARTUS

Moodle is the Learning Management System (LMS) being used at IITD. Impartus is a software for online classes which has been interfaced with Moodle and can be accessed from Moodle. As another alternative for online classes, IITD has an agreement with MicroSoft Teams (MS Teams). Some teachers prefer to use MS Teams for online classes.

STEP 1:

Copy & Paste URL: https://moodle.iitd.ac.in/login/index.php in any browser (Chrome/Mozilla etc.) and click ‘Enter’ keyboard button.

STEP 2:

The web page of IIT Delhi Moodle for 2020-2021 will be displayed.

STEP 3:

Log in using your IIT Delhi Kerberos ID and password as shown in the screen.

STEP 4:

After logging in, the STUDENT web page will open and show the COURSES you

are enrolled in. Please note that 2001 stands for semester I 20-21

STEP 5:

Click on any course (e.g. 2001-MCP100) to navigate to the course page in

Moodle environment.

STEP 6:

On clicking on course (2001-MCP100), the course web page will be displayed.

Information uploaded by instructor for the course will be available on the

page at the date it is displayed.

STEP 7:

If course content (live sessions or video recorded lectures, lecture notes, etc.)

for the course is delivered using Impartus platform, the it can be accessed by

clicking on the Impartus link

STEP 8:

On clicking Impartus link, the course web page for accessing the contents

(recorded videos through flipped lectures menu tab, recording of live

lectures through lecture menu tab, etc.) for the course can be accessed.

You will also see a link to join a live session on this page whenever a live

session is scheduled.

STEPS FOR ONLINE CLASSES FOR IST YEAR STUDENTS USING MICROSOFT TEAMS

STEP 1: Search Microsoft Teams in Google using any browser (Chrome/Mozilla etc.). Click on this link.

STEP 2: This web page will be displayed. Click on ‘Sign In’.

STEP 3: This web page having Sign in option will be displayed. Write your IIT

Delhi Kerberos ID here. Make sure that @iitd.ac.in must be written instead

of Deptt. (me/ce/cse/bb etc.) then Click Next button.

STEP 4: Write IIT Delhi Kerberos password here

STEP 5: This web page will be displayed. Click on ‘Yes’.

STEP 6: This web page will be displayed. There will be two options for using

Microsoft Teams. On clicking ‘Get the Windows app’, the installer starts

downloading.

STEP 7: This web page will be displayed. Executable Installer is downloaded here.

Click on this installer to install on your laptop/desktop computer. Sign in the

installed Microsoft Teams app as showed in previous steps.

STEP 8: On clicking ‘Use the web app instead’.

STEP 9: On clicking ‘Use the web app instead’, this web page will be displayed.
