BELIEF

The ALEF is formed by two yuds, one to the upper right and the other to the lower left, joined by a diagonal vav. These represent the higher and lower waters and the firmament between them, Water is first

mentioned in the Torah in the account of the first day of Creation:

"And the Raukh of YaHuWaH hovered over the surface of the water." At this time the higher and the lower waters were indistinguishable; their state is referred to as "water in water." On the second day of Creation

YaHuWaH separated the two waters by "stretching" the firmament between them.

The MEM, the letter of "water" (mayim) symbolizes the fountain of the Divine Wisdom of Torah. Just as the waters of a physical fountain (spring) ascend from their unknown subterranean source (the secret of the

abyss in the account of Creation) to reveal themselves on earth, so does the fountain of wisdom express the power of flow from the superconscious source. In the terminology of Kabbalah, this flow is from keter ("crown") to chochmah ("wisdom"). The stream is symbolized in Proverbs as "the flowing stream, the

source of wisdom."

In the beginning of Creation, when Infinite Light filled all reality, YaHuWaH contracted His Light to create hollow empty space, as it were, the "place" necessary for the existence of finite worlds. Into this vacuum YaHuWaH drew down, figuratively speaking, a single line of light, from the Infinite Source. This ray of

light is the secret of the letter VAV. Though the line is singular in appearance, it nonetheless possesses two dimensions, an external as well as an internal force, both of which take part in the process of Creation and

the continuous interaction between the creative power and created reality.

HOW DO WE DEFINE “ BELIEF”

To credit upon the authority or testimony of another; to be persuaded of the truth of something upon the declaration of another, or upon evidence furnished by reasons, arguments, and deductions of the mind, or

by other circumstances, than personal knowledge. When we believe upon the authority of another, we always put confidence in his veracity.

When we believe upon the authority of reasoning, arguments, or a concurrence of facts and circumstances, we rest our conclusions upon their strength or probability, their agreement with our own experience, &c.

To expect or hope with confidence; to trust.

To believe in, is to hold as the object of faith.

To believe on, is to trust, to place full confidence in, to rest upon with faith.

"To them gave he power to become the sons of YaHuWaH , even to them that believe on his name."

Believe

You are given faith (belief, fidelity) as a gift, and that faith produces the “good works”: obedience to the Torot (instructions) of YaHuWaH.

Our obedience is the fruit of His righteousness.

The Temple of YaHuWaH is a picture of the Mashiyach , His body. When we believe in Him, it is likened to being a tent peg driven into the ground that holds the tent down. When we believe,

we become a part of His Body. Of His flesh, and of His bones just as the tent peg becomes one with the tent when they are joined together. When looking at the Tabernacle and the Temple in

the Scriptures, not only does it teach about the Mashiyach but it also teaches about His Body, His Bride

And the scripture was fulfilled, that says:

“And he believed in YaHuWaH, and He credited it to him for righteousness

and he was called a “friend” of YaHuWaH.

See ye then that a man is justified from works, and not from belief alone.

The faith making Abram righteous wasn’t so much believing in YaHuWaH (as we usually

speak of believing in YaHuWaH), as it was believing YaHuWaH. Those only believing in

YaHuWaH (in the sense of believing He exists) are merely qualified to be demons

James 2:19.

Thou believest that there is one ALuaHiYM thou doest well: the devils also

believe, and tremble.

This is our faith our belief in His redemption and blessings, we look forward to his

Kingdom and long for his return

So then those who are of the Faith are blessed with faithful Avraham.

Rhomaios 4:5-8

But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith

is counted for tzedakah. Even as David also describeth the me'ushar (blessedness) of

the man, unto whom ALuaHiYM imputeth tzedakah without works, [Saying],

Blessed [are] they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Blessed

[is] the man to whom YaHuWaH will not impute sin.

hence we read

When some people learn that they are saved by YaHuWaH through faith, they start to worry. "Do I have enough faith?" they wonder. "Is my faith strong enough to save me?" These people miss the point. It is

YâHuWsHúa HaMaSHiYaCH who saves us, not our feelings or actions, and he is strong enough to save us no matter how weak our faith is. YâHuWsHúa offers us salvation as a gift because he loves us, not because

we have earned it through our powerful faith. What, then, is the role of faith? Faith is believing and trusting in YâHuWsHúa HaMaSHiYaCH and reaching out to accept his wonderful gift of salvation .What can we do to get rid of guilt? King David was guilty of terrible sins—adultery, murder, lying—and yet he

experienced the joy of forgiveness.

We, too, can have this joy when we quit denying our guilt and recognize that we have sinned, admit our guilt to YHWH and ask for his forgiveness, and let go of our guilt and believe that YaHuWaH has

forgiven us.

This can be difficult when a sin has taken root in our life over many years, when it is very serious, or when it involves others. We must remember that YâHuWsHúa is willing

and able to forgive every sin. In view of the tremendous price he paid on the cross, it is arrogant to think that there is any sin too great for him to forgive. Even though our

faith is weak, our conscience is sensitive, and our memory haunts us, YaHuWaH's Word declares that sins confessed are sins forgiven

Here is a gracious offer of pardon, and peace, and of all happiness. It shall not be in vain to seek YaHuWaH, now his word is calling to us, and his Raukh is striving with us. But there is a day coming when he will not be found. There may come such a time in this life; it is certain that at death and judgment the door will be shut. There must be not only a change of the way, but a change of the mind. We must alter our judgments

about persons and things. It is not enough to break off from evil practices, we must strive against evil thoughts. To repent is to return to our Father, against whom we have rebelled. If we do so, YaHuWaH will multiply to pardon, as we have multiplied to offend. But let none trifle with this plenteous mercy, or use it as an occasion to sin. Men's thoughts concerning sin, YâHuWsHúa , and Sacredness, concerning this world

and the other, vastly differ from YaHuWaH's; but in nothing more than in the matter of pardon. We forgive, and cannot forget; but when YaHuWaH forgives sin, he remembers it no more. The power of his word in the

kingdoms of providence and grace, is as certain as in that of nature. Sacred truth produces a Raukhual change in the mind of men, which neither rain nor snow can make on the earth. It shall not return to the

YaHuWaH without producing important effects. If we take a special view of the assembly, we shall find what great things YaHuWaH has done, and will do for it. The Jews shall come to their own land; this shall represent the blessings promised. Gospel grace will make a great change in men. Delivered from the wrath

to come, the converted sinner finds peace in his conscience; and love constrains him to devote himself to the

service of his Redeemer. Instead of being profane, contentious, selfish, or sensual, behold him patient, humble, kind, and peaceable. The hope of helping in such a work should urge us to spread the gospel of

salvation. And do thou help us, O Raukh of all truth, to have such views of the fullness, freeness, and greatness of the rich mercy in YâHuWsHúa, as may remove from us all narrow views of sovereign grace.

of the Torah. And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him

is no sin. Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen

him, neither known him.

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let

us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset [us], and let us run

with patience the race that

The Torah is the Law

Long-distance runners work hard to build endurance and strength. On race day, their clothes are lightweight and their bodies lean. To run the race that YaHuWaH has set before us, we must also strip off the excess weight that slows us down. How can we do that? Choose friends who are also committed to the race. Wrong friends will have values and activities that may deter you from the course. Much of your own

weight may result from the crowd you run with. Make wise choices. Drop certain activities. That is, for you at this time these may be weight. Try dropping them for a while; then check the results in your life.

Get help for addictions that disable you. If you have a secret "weight" such as pornography, gambling, or alcohol, admit your need and get help today. The Nätzräya life involves hard work. It requires us to give up whatever endangers our relationship with YHWH, to run with endurance, and to struggle against sin with the power of the Raukh HaQodesh. To live effectively, we must keep our eyes on YâHuWsHúa. We will stumble if we look away from him to stare at ourselves or at the circumstances surrounding us. We

should be running for YâHuWsHúa, not ourselves, and we must always keep him in sight.

ALuaHiYM YaHuWsHua HaMaschiyach: By whom also we have access by emunah into

this unmerited favour wherein we stand, and rejoice in tikvah of the glory of ALuaHiYM

And not only [so], but we glory in tzorot (affliction, troubles) also: knowing

that tzarah (trouble) worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience,

tikvah: And tikvah maketh not ashamed; because the love of ALuaHiYM

is shed abroad in our hearts by the Ruakh HaQodesh which is given unto us. For when we

were yet without strength, in due time Maschiyach died for the wicked. For scarcely for

a tzadik will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

But ALuaHiYM commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet

sinners, HaMaschiyach died for us.
