Stepping Into Internship Program - Position Description The Australian Network on Disability’s Stepping Into program is a paid internship scheme that matches talented university students with disability with roles in leading Australian businesses. Position Title Max Solutions – HR Intern Location Brisbane Position Duration Commencement Date: June 2019 or July 2019 Placements are for a minimum of 152 hours Position Overview The HR Intern will provide assistance in ‘business as usual’ activities and ‘project based’ activities in the following areas; Learning & Organisational Development, HRIS, Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partnering and Safety. Working closely with members of these teams, the HR Intern will gain valuable exposure to the day to day working of a large HR department in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities include User Experience Assessment of prototype Learning Pathways. Evaluation Analysis of Pilot Onboarding Program – Level 1/Level 2 Internal preparation of materials to promote MAX L&D suite. Assist with development of analytical metrics and dashboards, collate and analyse reports to support business decision process. Position Overview

The HR Intern will provide assistance in ‘business as usual’ activities and ‘project based’ activities in the following areas; Learning & Organisational Development, HRIS, Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partnering and Safety. Working closely with members of these teams, the HR Intern will gain valuable exposure to the day to day working of a large HR department in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities include

User Experience Assessment of prototype Learning Pathways.

Evaluation Analysis of Pilot Onboarding Program – Level 1/Level 2

Perform support for HR Systems across the HR Function.

Assist in the development of user training and other activities associated with HRIS change management.

Assist in auditing Team Benefits and improving usability.

Assist in completing Process’s for the Safety Function.

Complete Safety Audits at including SDS’s.

Assist the internal recruitment team with recruitment screening.

Analysis of talent acquisition data

Assist with the application of Company Policy via reviewing and drafting letters.

Assist with formulating strategy on review of the HR Dashboard.

Personal Attributes

You will have a positive attitude, strong attention to detail and be able to work as part of a team

Key Skills

Good oral and written communication skills, computer literate, good time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines, excellent organisational skills.

Eligibility Requirements

Second last or final year of a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree

Australian citizens and Permanent Residents only

Identify as having disability

Candidates may be required to undergo a background check security clearance
