Service Delivery Transformation Command

The Service Delivery Transformation Command is a new Command established within Victoria Police late in 2020 to develop an evolving modern police model that is committed to community safety.

The Command team currently comprises 6 sworn and 3 VPS with a plan to rapidly expand to a total of 30 staff - sworn and VPS. The team will achieve the set objectives through service delivery transformation, ensuring maximum public value, providing the same high-level response for all Victorians, reducing levels of crime and harm, improving public safety and building stronger connections with our community and partners.

As we strive to exceed service delivery expectations, we must discover the most efficient ways to operate. The Service Delivery Transformation Command team will be reviewing, mapping and designing how Victoria Police can shift from good to great. This will be achieved through a two-speed approach:

1. Progressively initiate readily-adapted organisational transformation projects while identifying opportunities to support local service improvements that contribute to the desired end state.

2. Simultaneously, design the next generation operating model/service delivery platform that is responsive to future community needs.

Project knowledge, administration skills, excellent communication skills would be advantageous for the role.The team is small, so cross pollination of duties is occurring so flexibility and willingness to contribute to a team environment is critical.

Ideal Degree/Discipline

Business Management/Administration or related discipline.

Second last or final year of a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree

Permanent residents and Australian citizens only

Identify as having disability
