Repairs were carried out inside and outside the tower, in the nacelle, hub and Heli-Deck, ensuring work was fully documented and unscheduled repairs were rectified when identified. As team leader it was my responsibility to implement tool box talk, record environmental readings and inspect paint dry film thickness.

CWIND – OFFSHORE WIND TURBINE SPOT METAL REPAIR JUNE 2015 - JULYWorking in Grimsby on the Western most rough offshore wind turbine field, carrying out spot on paint repairs inside and outside of turbines using a three coat system. Carrying out snagging of all work completed. This is signed off by the paint inspector successfully delivering a high end product to the clients’ specifications. Responsible for the safe slinging and rigging of all tools required for the task, ensuring lift plans are adhered to and taking environmental factors into consideration such as wind, waves and swells. Enforce and comply with IRATA regulations, prioritising all safety measures and ensuring rescue and evacuation processes are in place and strictly adhered to.

CAPE – ROPE ACCESS TECHNICIAN MAY 2015 – JUNE 2015Working on Draks power station in a team of 4, installing debris netting inside a coal unit boiler for a full internal clean during the unit outage on the power station using basic rope access techniques.

Working on Saint David’s hotel roof in Cardiff Blasting and painting eternal steel structure using rope access techniques. Steel was painted with a two coat system of mastic and polyurethane. \worked as part of a 6 strong team to get the job done within the allocated time scope.
