STEP 1: Take the left corner of the paper and fold it down to the right side. Make sure the right corner is creased at the very tip.

STEP 2: Fold the paper in half by folding the bottom left corner to the upper right corner. Fold this triangle in half.

STEP 3: Unfold the triangles until you are left with your original square shape.

STEP 4: Fold each corner into the center of the square. (follow the creases)

STEP 5: Flip over the folded square, and repeat step 4 on the opposite side of the paper square.

STEP 6: Fold the square in half into a rectangle

STEP 7: Fold rectangle in half into a square, and tuck your thumbs and fingers in the four openings below.

STEP 8:Pop open your fortune teller, and write “fortunes” in each triangle if desired.
