Message from Paddock Way Neighbor IliveonPaddockWayanditishardtoleavemydrivewaywhencarsarespeedingonthestreet.Ihavenoticedthatmyneighborshavethesameproblem.Ifdriverswouldbealittlecourteousandslowdown,especiallywhentheyseecarstryingtobackout,itwouldhelpusalot.I’veevenbeenhonkedatfortryingtoleavemydriveway.Evenonschooldays,carsarespeedingbyEmmottwithchildrenwalkingtoschool.Pleaseremembertheschoolzonespeedlimitis20mph.Neighbors–pleasekeepyourdoorslockedandgaragedoorsclosed.Recentlymyhusbandchasedoffyouthsnoopingaroundaneighbor’shomeatnight.Weallhavetopulltogetherandwatchoutforeachother.Let’skeepSteeplechasesafe! Steeplechase Swim Team ThankyouneighborsforeveryonethatshowedtheirsupportofourSteeplechase Stallions in December. We had our first fund raiser at theclubhouse–“PhotoswithSanta”.SpecialthankyoutoMorganBurcham(andfriends)andCandiceSantillo,ourswimcoaches,foransweringallquestionsandconcernsbroughttoourattention.Wearebeginning the registrationprocessandall the informationcanbe found on the internet at www.steeplechasetx.com. The formswillbeinadownloadableformataswellasmoreinformationaboutournewswimteam.WewillalsobehostingsomeregistrationsonSaturdaysandwillpostsignsaheadoftimeforthoseevents.WewillbeacceptingregistrationsuntilthebeginningofApril,however,weneedtogettheminassoonaspossibletoavoidanyproblemswithteamuniformsandotherassociateditemsthatwewillneed.Wearealsoinneedofmanyparentvolunteersforthehomeswimmeets.Ourteamhasan“openregistration”whichmeansanybodythatlivesinthevicinityanddoesnothaveaswimteamintheirownneighborhoodiswelcometojointheSteeplechaseStallions.Tellyourfriendsatschoolandyourneighborstocomeoutandjointheswimteamwithyou.ThisteamisgoingtoaddtothegreatSteeplechasepridethatwealreadyhave!Let’sshowourspiritandsupporttheswimmers.Formoreinformationaboutswimming,volunteering,orsponsoring,pleasedropusane-mailatswim_team@steeplechasetx.comorcallPhilipRamirezat832-875-0763.
