STCU PPP Forgiveness Portal Guide Technical Support If you need technical assistant with the PPP Forgiveness portal, please contact at
Note: You must complete and submit the forgiveness application before you can upload documentation.
You only need to upload documentation that applies to your spending and/or supports your request
Navigation Tips: The online application is best viewed in Chrome or MS Edge.
Navigate from field to field via tab or clicking directly in each field
Use the green “Next” button to navigate to the next screen.
o If a field displays a red bar on the right hand side, it must be populated in
order to save and continue.
Use the blue Save and come back later button if you need to exit your application
to return at a latertime/date.
If changes are required to your application after submission, you will need to resubmit
and recertify each time.
Online Application – Applying for Forgiveness Prior to beginning the application, you should have your application and supporting documents
for reference as you will be entering the information in the online application.
1. Access the STCU PPP Forgiveness portal by clicking on this link or by typing the URL into
Google Chrome or MS Edge: stcuppp.force.com

Your password will be the same password you used to apply for your original loan. You
can click on the blue “Forgot Password” link and you will be sent an email from

a. At Least 8 characters
b. 1 lowercase letter
c. 1 uppercase letter
d. 1 number
e. 1 of the following special characters (! # $ % - _ = + < > )
Note: any replies sent to this email will not be received. If you need to email our team, please use
the email listed above.
2. Upon Log In, you will see the dashboard where your original PPP loan is viewable in the “Your
Products” component.

3. To apply for forgiveness, click the “Marketplace” link on the left hand side Note: Informational tiles (on the right in this layout) will provide guidance on each screen
topic.
4. Click Apply to applyfor Paycheck Protection Program Forgiveness. DONOT CLICK on Applyfor
the SBA 7(a) Paycheck Protection Program – this is a link to start a new application for a new
loan which is unavailable at thistime.
5. Confirm the business for which you are applying for forgiveness. They click Apply With This
Business.

6. Next, is a quick confirmation of your personal details. If any information has been updated
from the time the original PPP loan was created, you have the ability to update that
information here. After reviewing information and making any changes click Next.
7. Next, you will be directed to enter your Covered Period and Payroll Frequency. The tiles on the
right will provide guidance on how to complete the required information. You will choose 8 or
24 weeks (the tile on the right will define both options). Enter your payroll schedule and click
Next.
8. The next set of questions will determine if you are eligible to complete the 3508EZ Application
or if you will need to complete the 3508 Application. Answering Yes to any one of the
questions will allow you to choose the 3508 Application form. You can select to continue with
EZ application. If they answer any one of the questions is No, you will be directed to the 3508
application.

After your choice, click Next.
9. Next, you will enter the business’s payroll costs. As always, the tile on the right provides
guidance on how to answer the payroll questions. Once all fields are complete, click Next.

10. Enter the business’s headcount. As always, the tile on the right provides guidance on how to
answer the headcount questions. Click Next.
11. A) If the amount of the payroll costs DO NOT EQUAL the PPP loan amount, the non-payroll
costs route will automatically render. Enter the non-payroll costs and click Next.
B) If the amount of the payroll costs EXCEEDS the PPP loan amount, the Forgiveness Check
route will automatically render. Enter the non-payroll costs if desired. Click Next.

12. Two additional questions will appear – PPP loan over $2 million and if you received an EIDL
loan. Click Next.
13. The next scree will show the Estimated Forgiveness Calculation which is an estimate of the
amount to be forgiven. Click Next.
14. The next screen is are the certifications that you must initial certifying that you are supplying
true and accurate information. Certify by clicking the appropriate check boxes and then click
Next.

15. Additional certifications for 3508EZ ensure that you are still able to apply with 3508 the EZ
form. By answering the questions below, you will be notified of your continued eligibility then
click Next.
16. The E-Consent route is optional but will allows you to apply electronically. If you do not
consent or wish to submit and or sign paper copies of your forms, you can leave blank and
click Next.

17. The Demographic Information route is optional. SBA encourages applicants to respond so
that accurate statistics can be obtained and reported for the PPP program. If you answer one
question, you must answer ALL questions. If you prefer not to answer leave blank and click
Next.
18. The final screen is the Review and Submit page. Please review for accurate information and
ensure there are no issues with the data that has been added to the application for PPP
Forgiveness. Ifconfidentyourinformationiscorrect, Click Submit Application. If something
needs to be changes, use the route on the left hand side of the screen to navigate to the
appropriate section.
Note: Once the application is submitted, there are no further changes allowed. If you need to
make changes or if STCU communicates changes that need to me made, you will need to log
in, resubmit and recertify yourapplication.

19. Once your application is submitted, click the Go to Dashboard button to return to the
dashboard where you can view the progress of their submitted application and upload
required documents.

Dashboard – Documents
1. Once you have submitted the application, you will see To Do List as well as Incomplete
Applications, if any. Youare required to upload one document as requested for your
application to move to a Complete status and to be available for STCU review.
2. The number inthe circle indicates howmanydocuments are available for upload. Youmay
NOT have to upload all documents listed, it depends on your application form.
a. 3508 EZ application forms require you to upload documentation verifying the eligible
cashcompensation and non-cash benefitpayments as wellas documentation for non-
payroll expenses as well as documentation verifying existence of the
obligations/services prior to February 15, 2020. Please refer to the PPP Loan
Forgiveness Application Form 3508EZ Instructions for borrowers whichcan be found
on the SBA website.
b. 3508 Application forms require you to upload documentation verifying the eligible
cashcompensation and non-cash benefitpayments; documentationshowing the FTE
employees; documentation for non-payroll expenses as well as documentation
verifying existence of the obligations/services prior to February 15, 2020. Please refer
to the PPP Loan Forgiveness ApplicationForm 3508EZInstructionsforborrowerswhich
can be found on the SBAwebsite.

3. You can either browse to locate the files to upload or Drag & Drop from your computer into
the placeholder.
4. As you upload documents the number will decrease and the placeholder will change. You will
see a checkmark and that the document is uploaded. There is no need to Save.
5. You can also verify if the document is uploaded, by toggling to the Show Previously
Completed button. This will list the documents already uploaded.
6. Once at least one document has been uploaded, your application will be complete and STCU
can begin review of your application. STCU has 60 days from the time we start review of
application to send your information to the SBA. SBA will have 90 days from the receipt of the
information to decision your forgiveness. If for some reason additional information is
requested from SBA, STCU will notify you within 5 days of the request to obtain the
information.
