STAY WITH COMFORT AND REASSURANCE
It’s been a long and trying time for all of us but we are delighted to throw open our doors once again and welcome leisure guests back to our Hotels.
We have always demanded high standards of cleanliness for our guests, but for greater
transparency and piece-of-mind to enable you to enjoy your Strathmore break in the knowledge that the highest hygiene standards in relation to Covid-19 have been put in place,
please see our current guidelines and measures.
You may see more signage, screens, and face masks throughout your stay, but please let us assure you that as always, our friendly staff are there to help.
Their main commitment will remain - to ensure our guests have a wonderful and relaxing stay.
Reception (check in & check out) Our Reception Team are at the very heart of our hotel. They are still there to help answer any questions you may have and allay any fears…as well as arranging that chilled bottle of champagne in your room on arrival or extra pillow you might need! Here are some measures you will see at Reception:
Introduction of clear perspex or glass screens
Room keys will treated with disinfectant on hand in and out
Card payments are preferred
Social distancing and information signage in place
Social distancing marked out on floors where necessary
Where possible a one way system is in place for getting to bedrooms and returning to reception
A maximum of two people will be allowed in our passenger lifts or restricted to guests staying in the same room
Porterage service will unfortunately not be provided unless you are physically unable so please let us know
Bedrooms/Housekeeping We still want our bedrooms to feel like a home away from home for you but for the moment there are some small changes we have had to make. During your stay if there is anything you are not sure of, or wish to request extra services for your room, then please do ask us. Here are some measures you will see in your room:
We have removed some non-essential high-touch items from rooms such as brochures
New cleaning procedures and equipment have been introduced to protect guests and staff working in our housekeeping teams
Housekeeping staff will focus on commonly touched surfaces
If a bedroom is occupied by the same guest for more than one night then servicing of the bedroom will be restricted to replacing towels and replenishing tea making facilities and emptying bins
On departure, bedrooms are thoroughly aired
Public Areas Our lounges and public areas are still very much open for you to relax in. Whether your wish is to take some time out with a coffee and a good book, or sit with your family in front of the fire with a hot chocolate, you are more than welcome to take advantage of the public lounges and areas. Here are some measure you will see in and around the hotel:
Sanitising stations in place at entry points in the hotels
Extra sanitising of all public areas throughout the day
All doors throughout the hotel fitted with automatic closers will remain in an open state

Face coverings will also be worn by staff throughout all public areas unless medically exempt or for non-public facing roles where face coverings may present health and safety issues
Food & Beverage We all know that a good meal with a nice glass of wine or chilled beverage, goes hand in hand with a relaxing
break and all our bars and restaurants will be open during your stay. We also know however that there may be
some hesitation in eating in public dining spaces. As such our room service option will be made available to all
guests at no extra charge allowing you to dine in the comfort of your room. We would also be delighted to
offer a tasty packed lunch during your stay so you can relax knowing you can go out for the day and lunch has
been taken care of. We encourage you to let us know if you are travelling as part of a larger group of friends or family - that way we can ensure your dining needs are met and we can keep you as close as possible. Here are some measures you will see in and around the restaurant and bar areas:
