The Statue of Liberty was created on 28 of October 1882.

It is located in Liberty Island (New York). The statue of Liberty has had 3.5 million of

visits in 2011. The sculptor was Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi

and the designer was Gustave Alexandre Eiffel.

Sculptor Frederic Auguste was sent to design a sculpture in the year 1876 in mind for completion.The Statue was built as a joint project between America and France.Over the years, the Statue of Liberty's symbolism has grown to include freedom and democracy as well as this international friendship.
