CadastreCadastre
● The Cadastre is a government funded database to track land usage for taxes
● The DGFip (Direction Générale des Finances publiques) has given access to theirWMS server, which contains municipality maps and buildings in it
● Thanks to Denis Helfer and Pieren for asking permission to use the data
● The data provided is a bitmap based on vectorial data. A future update may give us direct access to vectorial data (We hope)
● Not all of France is vectorized inside the website yet, but the coverage is pretty good
● The following information can be found on the cadastre:● Name of the street (but not their shape)● Municipality boundary● Buildings● Building number● Water like artificial lakes● Paths
● A plugin was created by Pieren in order to access the cadastre through JOSM

- European Union data from 2006. So far, only France and Estonia had their dataReleased under a compatible license with OSM
- Community based approach to create a consistent nomenclature for the CLC data- Data import documented on a wiki page (Vincent Pottier). Many tools modified in order
to prepare the work. The Corine OSM file for non overlapping data is about 11 300 000 nodes and 200 000 polygones
- Thanks to Pieren for asking details about the license- Data import is being worked on by Sylvain Letuffe, Yann Coupin, Pieren and Emilie
Laffray
