n 2016 Tawazun and MP3 International established Advanced Pyrotechnics (APT) in Abu Dhabi, UAE with a full-fledged manufacturing facility located at Tawazun Industrial Park (TIP). With change in title of the same partners, a joint venture between GradeOne Group and Edge Group was formed.

APT is the leading regional manufacturer of Non-Lethal Technologies producing high-performance pyrotechnics and non-lethal ammunition. The company has adopted German technology and military standards and specifications in accordance with international regulations.

Flagship products include a range of non-lethal hand grenades and cartridges that are designed for use by military, special forces, law enforcement and rescue teams. The Sound & Flash 2 Bang and CS Dispersion Grenade is a hybrid grenade providing 3 different effect (Sound, Flash and Irritant dispersion) for opposition incapacitation during military and law enforcement operations. The Grenade is initiated by fly off lever action. When activated, and after a precisely defined delay time, grenade produces 2 loud reports (bangs) & high intensity flash effects followed by CS Dispersion. This Grenade is suitable for both outdoor and indoor usage.
