SECTION 1 PROPOSER’S QUALIFICATIONS AND CAPABILITY A. Type of Firm B. Number of Years in the Energy Business C. Number and Value of Similar Contracts D. Number of Full-Time Personnel E. Accreditations or other pre-qualifiers (ie., NAESCO, U.S. Dept. of Energy, U.S. Dept. of Defense, etc.) Honeywell International Inc (Honeywell) is a Fortune 100 software-industrial company that delivers industry specific solutions that include control technologies for buildings, homes, and industry; performance materials globally, and aerospace and automotive products and services. Our technologies help everything from buildings, aircraft, cars, homes, manufacturing plants, supply chains, and workers become more connected to make our world smarter, safer, and more sustainable. Our company has a 133-year legacy of innovation specializing in developing, designing, building, owning and financing comprehensive infrastructure projects for state and local government, higher education, industrial, federal, and commercial customers across the globe. Founded in 1885, Honeywell International Inc. is a publicly owned corporation with 131,000 employees including 23,000 engineers in over 70 countries. From our early beginnings as a thermostat manufacturer, Honeywell has evolved into a $40.5 billion diversified technology and manufacturing leader headquartered in Morris Plains, NJ and incorporated in the State of Delaware.

LOCAL RESOURCES TO SUPPORT CT DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES (DAS) Honeywell employs over 630 people in the State of Connecticut, and is committed to maintaining and creating more jobs for Honeywell and suppliers in CT. In cooperation with DAS, we will review the local footprint of suppliers and subcontractors that could benefit from this program. Honeywell has maintained a local presence in Connecticut for several decades, and is a partner in many communities in terms of energy conservation. Our local footprint is strong and surpasses any other performance contractor. We have installed multiple phases of energy performance contracts in many schools/municipalities in Connecticut and have more references than any other ESCO in Connecticut. Some of our projects both retired and current are: Town/Schools of Stratford, City/Schools of Danbury, Town/Schools of Colchester, Monroe, Stafford, Enfield, Branford and of Tolland, CT. Many of these municipalities have hired Honeywell for additional phases over time because of our track record and performance on the projects. Both the Town of Stratford, Enfield and Danbury Public Schools have developed comprehensive energy and infrastructure improvements that balance short and long term goals. The Town of Enfield, CT just received a $1.62M incentive check from Eversource based on our scope of work and taking the lead on the development of the incentive process from forms to pre and post inspection tours for our customers. This was $400k above the projected amount and based on the due diligence of the Honeywell team working with Eversource. Our long-term relationships within Connecticut brings DAS the knowledge that we have achieved the goals of these customers, as well as developed strong, long-term relationships. Our partnership with DAS will consider your near term and long-term strategic energy plan, building modifications, current energy baseline, infrastructure needs, renewable goals – geothermal and solar installations, energy reliability, and communication to the stake holders on its progress. Through a partnership with Honeywell, these goals and many others will be achieved as Honeywell brings its energy expertise and advanced technology to help you create your vision for DAS. Honeywell will work with DAS to develop energy savings measures and renewable energy strategies to maximize energy savings while balancing long term infrastructure goals. The Honeywell Global Finance team will assist you with complex financing products and look at grants through the Greenbank, UI and LREC/ZREC’s in the future, and many others that will ultimately help subsidize the cost of the program.

Honeywell’s SDE team is experienced in the energy field, and required to complete annual training and participate in industry events to fine tune their capabilities and customer value.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE IN ENERGY SERVICES BUSINESS Honeywell has been involved in the energy efficiency related business for over 133 years, beginning with the invention of the very first furnace regulator and alarm in 1885 by an inventor named Albert Butz. He formed the Butz Thermo-Electric Regulator Company in 1886, and a few weeks later invented what he called a “damper flapper” – now better known as the thermostat. In the many years since, Honeywell has introduced a vast number of energy products, technologies and services to the marketplace, with the thermostat remaining the most common, popular and highly visible member of our product line. Honeywell has provided performance contracting services for over 39 years. We undertook our very first energy project in 1979, later coining the concept of “guaranteed savings” under a grant from the U.S. Department of Energy in 1984. Since the beginning, we have focused our business on solutions to help our customers manage their energy expenses and control their environment. Honeywell has also strived to lead by example with energy efficiency and sustainable practices within our own facilities. In response, Honeywell was recognized by the EPA as the first Energy Star partner to voluntarily commit all of our facilities to all phases of the program. Essentially, Honeywell pioneered and revolutionized the performance contracting business. We have designed, developed and executed over 7,000 EPCs and in the last year 10 years have successfully designed and constructed 1,072 projects that are worth $3.535 Billion. This graphic represents Honeywell’s performance contracting projects for the past ten (10) years. In addition, our local team has tremendous experience in performing Comprehensive Energy Audits to help our customer’s energy efficiency opportunities, and provide solutions to your building infrastructure and environmental needs. Our success rate in designing energy solutions, delivering results, and meeting energy guarantees is unmatched locally and nationally. Honeywell has never defaulted on an energy savings guarantee. In the three percent of cases in which we did not meet the guarantee, we paid our customers the difference between the guaranteed amount and the actual savings achieved. We then took steps to

identify and fix the problems causing the shortfalls. Honeywell’s strong financial position and over 39 years of experience with energy guarantees ensures that our customers always achieve the guaranteed savings and the results they expect.

ENERGY ACCREDITATIONS AND AFFILIATIONS

National Association of Energy Service Companies (NAESCO) Honeywell is an active member and one of the earliest charter members of the National Association of Energy Service Companies (NAESCO), the country’s premier energy services trade organization, and is one of only eleven companies nationwide that has consistently met NAESCO’s rigorous accreditation requirements. LEED EB Ratings Interaction At the core of the LEED Rating System is a holistic process of evaluation, decision making and design involving all disciplines of the design team, the building owner and tenants, as well as operation and maintenance staff. The LEED process, energy auditing and performance contracting are complimentary and easily integrated with one another. The energy audit will be performed in conjunction with the LEED assessment. These tools, developed side-by-side, will form the basis of a single, integrated action plan that can incorporate interaction with carbon footprint calculations and protocols. Honeywell has LEED Accredited Professionals assigned to the District project team.

Military Times “Best for Vets” Employer 2017 Honeywell is a Military Times “Best for Vets” Employer 2017. Each year, Military Times invites companies to fill out a nearly 100-question survey that results in the rankings that “evaluate companies’ culture, veteran recruiting, veteran policies and accommodations for members of the National Guard and reserves.” “The Best for Vets designation and logo cannot be bought. Only earned,” said George Altman, the Military Times editor in charge of the rankings. “The companies on the Military Times Best for Vets list earned their rankings through determined efforts to recruit and support service members, veterans and military families. These efforts deserve recognition from the country and should get the attention of veterans looking for a new career.” Honeywell was named a “Best for Vets” employer as a result of its military recruiting efforts, percentage of new hires with previous military service and company policies towards National Guard and reserve service. Honeywell also was designated as a 2017 Military Friendly® Employer by Victory Media, publisher of G.I. Jobs®. U.S. Veterans Magazine named Honeywell one of the 2016 Best of the Best Top Veteran Friendly Companies.
