Dennis, an example of the T-Square type, has excellent intuition, good hunches,and is able to feel things out on a practical level. Basic Compatibility

An interesting combination, but not necessarily a smooth ride. As for role playing,Dennis will have to assume the role of the loved one, the object of love, andLeslie the role of provider and lover. Leslie should have no trouble caring forDennis, since she naturally is very responsible, naturally aware, and takes thebig picture in at a glance. So far, so good.

The problem here is that, although Dennis loves, deserves, and is used to beinggiven a lot of attention, Leslie also has some of this same need herself. Inaddition to all of her natural sense of responsibility, Leslie occasionally requiressome looking after too. This is where heads may bump, because both can't bewaited on at once.

Also, while Dennis is, by nature quite used to and dependent on relationships,Leslie is not as dependent on them, and, by type, is much more self-sufficientand independent. In other words, Leslie is not as reliant on relationships orpartnerships in general, and quite content to be by herself from time to time.

Lovers Comparison


This is a workable combination, but the accent is on work, since some may beinvolved. In relationships, some chemistry is required and to achieve that therehas to be some opposition, like a lover and a loved one. Here is how that worksout in this combination.

First, forget about equality here. Dennis cares more and Leslie cares less, so getused to it. Leslie will have to take over the role of the lover, although she alsolikes attention and may require a little loving of her own. However, Dennis isconstructed to play only one role, and that is the role of the loved one, the centerof attention. It is not natural for him to act as caretaker of a relationship. He is ahigh-maintenance type.

Actually, Leslie can play either role, that of lover or loved one, depending on theneeds of her partner, so this, as mentioned above, can result in complications, inparticular when she could use a little attention herself. Dennis is not likely to takeon that role. So provided, the above be kept in mind, this is a very workablerelationship.

Inner Relationships


This may not be the easiest combination to work out because there are someincompatibilities. The greatest difficulty may be the fact that Leslie is just waymore independent and self-centered than Dennis, and does not need much ofanyone outside of HIS2 own concerns. And it is not as if Dennis is any slouchwhen it comes being selfish or self-centered. It is just that, unlike Leslie, Dennisneeds other people to feel whole. Dennis is interdependent, rather thanindependent of others. There you have the rub, as they say.

A working situation between these two may depend on Leslie tearing herselfaway from HIS2 own interests long enough to care for and guide Dennis, whosenature is not as aware of things as that of Leslie. Help is not likely to come fromDennis in all of this because he tends to be relatively unaware of what othersthink and is not really a 'thinker" himself, but more of a doer - intuitive, butpractical.

As mentioned, Leslie is pretty complete as a person just as HE2 is and HIS2independence may appear to others as coldness or aloofness, and that HE2 justdoes not care. This could end up hurting Dennis and causing him to withdrawfrom the relationship. So, to repeat, a successful relationship depends on Leslietaking the time to lead and guide Dennis.
