Health and Wellness at Carolina Assisted Living

every month our Regional Wellness Director Katie
Van Beek is holding a wellness clinic for our
elders in both small group and one on one
settings. This will give all a chance to talk with Katie about personal health issues and also address ways to keep healthy during high illness
periods. We are making every Wednesday
a Wellness Wednesday and introducing our New Smoothie

We are looking for your unwanted and nicely used items to add to our donated offerings for our garage sale!! If you have things that you no longer use or want we would love to sell them in our garage sale!! All Proceeds will go to Saving Paws Animal Rescue!!
Resident Spotlight
Wilma A.
Wilma has been a resident here at CAL for almost one year. She is a socially active person who loves bingo, Let’s Make a Deal, Card Sharks and almost any game of challenge. She loves doing puzzles and reading. She is also a marvelous cook and baker and has headed up some of our baking club activities. She has a husband of over 67 years and is the mother to 6 beautiful children and many grandchildren!

Katie VanBeek
Katie has been working in health care since 2001. She graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing in 2014. Katie loves her career because it is her passion and makes her soul smile. She feels that nothing is more rewarding to the spirit than positively impacting lives. Besides nursing, Katie enjoys spending time with her family, learning about different cultures and places through traveling, and being outdoors.
