Gaurav is the founder and CEO of Houston’s leading mobile agency, ChaiOne. A strong desire to help clients accelerate business has driven Khandelwal to challenge the status quo in enterprise web and mobile applications. A visionary in mobile strategy and technology innovation, Khandelwal has focused ChaiOne to create engaging products internally and for clients. Gaurav is also the co-founder at START Houston, a tech coworking space for web and mobile startups.
START’s cofounder Apurva is a sales leader and manager with experience in team building and growth of small to large sales forces. Apurva has worked in both the Real Estate world and the online space has offered a unique background for building a new age real estate lending company. Apurva has a strong passion for entrepreneurship and has extensive experience in running companies.
Tejas is the business manager at START Houston and brings a wealth of management and marketing experience to the role. He has 10 years of management and marketing experience in the wireless industry working for T-Mobile, Verizon, and Motorola. Prior to his wireless days he managed 3 family businesses in the Houston Area.

START hosts our own Demo Day every 4th Wednesday of the month. We bring the beer and the food, you bring the innovation. It is an excellent opportunity to be introduced to the Houston entrepreneurial scene. Practice your pitch, receive feedback from successful serial entrepreneurs, and have the opportunity to raise capital, all in one evening.
Companies selected to pitch at Demo Day will be provided 3 minutes to describe your company and business plan. A panel of business owners, venture capitalists, angel investors, and corporate executives will provide instantaneous feedback, and afterwards there is time to network with developers, designers and possible cofounders. Please remember that this is a competitive process to be selected, and we only take up to 4 companies each month.
