Introduction
• STARLIB: tabular reaction rate
library for stellar modelers. Includes:
– Uncertainties on rates
– Information to build realistic rate
probability density functions (PDFs)
• Structure based on Monte Carlo
method to calculate experimental
reaction rates
– Input: assign physically motivated PDF
to each nuclear physics parameter
– Output: the rate PDF
• Low, median, and high rates are defined
in a statistically rigorous manner
