Transfiguration shows The depth of God’s love for us.
The first reading recalls Abraham’s willingness to sacrifice his son Isaac. In
the second reading from Romans, we are reminded once again that if God is
for us, who can be against us? The Gospel recounts the Transfiguration,
wherein Jesus’ identity as the Son of God is confirmed.
