Security and Accountability

Security and accountability are important in every environment. The Commander is a secure application which also provides accountability for corporate staff. The Commander has the capability of role based multi-level passwords to logon to the system, limit operator access, and access different areas of the facilities. Once authorized for use, the operators every action as well as all events in the facilities are logged to a central database for audit and reporting.

Scalable and Expandable

The Commander is based on a scalable software platform capable of supporting redundant multi-site, multiple-hierarchy deployments. The server supports any practical number of client workstations. With proper access level, the system screens can also be viewed and controlled using wireless hand held devices to perform guard tours, respond to alarm events by viewing PTZ cameras, or lock-down associated areas in emergency; all outside of the command center.

Easy-To-Use

The Commander Touch Screen is your portal to controlling and monitoring all of the systems in your facilities. Everything from access control, video, intrusion, fire, intercom, paging / notification to facilities and enterprise information systems information is available via easy-to-use menu driven graphical user interfaces. While installing hundreds of fully integrated systems, we have continually developed and improved our interfaces to make it easier and faster to monitor and respond to any situation. This begins with the customized floor plans which not only match the facilities, but also take into account the facilities’ day-to-day operations. The amount of animation and static data displayed in graphical screens are maximized while keeping the overall look and feel simple and easy to control. Each controlled and monitored device in the facilities has a corresponding icon. Intercom stations look like intercom stations; doors look like doors; and cameras look like cameras. Neutral colors are used when a function is not in use. When an event requiring action does occur, the prioritized activity list, ‘Quick Zoom’ functionality and on-screen video allow for a quick assessment and response by the operator. Each Commander station can have Digitized Voice Interaction (DVI). When the door is unlocked, the touch screen verbally confirms to the operator the action has occurred. All operator actions - system warnings, system emergencies - are verbally announced to the operator.
