The USB 3.0 card connects to your duplicator's writer drive(s) through the controller to allow the drive(s) to be connected to a PC as an external writer. This allows the user to create master discs through the duplicator drive(s) from their PC. Drag and Drop files directly from your PC to the Duplicator's Hard Drive.

1-11 SATA Controller The most important component in a duplicator is the controller. Our controller (the duplicator's motherboard) is specially programmed to offer the highest quality performance of any controller on the market. Designed by Vinpower Digital (VPD), these controllers are manufactured to better meet your needs for both performance and aesthetics. The quality of the controller can make all the difference between making perfect CD and DVD copies or ending up with failed or low quality copies. In fact, if you took two identical duplicators with the only variables being the controllers, the VPD controller will produce a better PIPO number every time (scale for measuring DVD disc quality). In addition to compatibility, VPD make a more powerful controller that ensures proper functioning and more reliability. The added power allows our controller to offer better performance and more options. The controllers come standard with a 128MB ~ 256MB memory buffer for the best reading performance of any duplicator on the market.

Video Copy Protection

It also offers Video Copy Protection with the purchase of licenses. Each License will allow for unlimited copy protected copies per master to be made. The unique Copy Protection Software (CPS) can embed a proprietary copy protection encryption into any DVD video master through a PC which can then be transferred onto the V12 duplicator to produce as many copy protected reproductions as the user needs. Since CPS is software based as opposed to hardware based, there are no issues with compatibility with players like similar models on the market. In addition, CPS protects against both duplication and ripping for a double dose of protection whereas similar applications from competitors cannot block ripping. The system comes standard with the "Copy Protection " feature and the relevant software, however to use the Copy Protection feature, you will need to purchase licenses. With each license, you can create "1x Copy Protected Master" with the supplied software on your PC, after which the copy protected master image is sent from the PC to the Duplicator via high speed USB-3. The V12 system can now make copies of the Copy Protected Master, and all these copies will be Copy Protected. Thus, with one license, the client can create 1000's of copy protected copies.
