[Commentary]Whatdoesthismean,practically?

Parisheswhoareinsearchprocesses,andwhoarelookingforagoodpriest,cannotnotconsiderthosewhodifferfrommajoritysocietalgendernormssimplybecausofthatdisorder.Tonametwoexamples:thosemenwithperfectlygoodxychromosomesbutwhoimaginethattheyarereallywomen,andthenundergosurgeryandtakehormonesinordertofurtherfostertheirbeliefsorwhosimplycross-dressorotherwisedifferfrommajoritysocietalgendernormscannotbenotconsideredbcauseofthatdisorderingenderidentity.Thewordsgenderidentityandexpressi

onareextraordinarilybroadandvagueandtheyaremeanttoencompassavarietyofexpressions.

Ofcourse,CDOprofilesthatparishesreceiveforsearchprocessesdonothavemarkedonthemtranssexualortransgender.SoyoursearchprocesseswillreceiveCDprofilesandresumesofthesemenandwomenwhoexperienceseriousdisorderswithoutsearchcommitteesbeingawareofthosedisorders.

ositesex,andthenundergosurgeryandtakehormonesinordertofurtherfostertheirpersonalbeliefsaboutthemselvesorwhosimplycross-dressorotherwisedifferfrommajoritysocietalgendernormscannotnotbeconsideredasanurseryvolunteerorvestrymemberoranyotherpartofthelocalparishsleadershipforwhichtheymaywishtovolunteer.

Theirdisorderedactions,somethingthatisapathology,barringachromosomalorotherphysicaldisorder,cannotbeapartofanydecisiontoexcludethemfromconsiderationinanypartofchurchleadership,whetherclergyorlaity.Thisperfectlyparallelsthetheologyandfoundationalworldviewofthosewhohavedriventheacceptanceofnon-celibate,same-sexrelationshipsaswell.

Ithasbeenclearforsomeyearsnowthatthepeopleleadingusatthenationallevel90%ofbishops,layandclergydeputiestoGeneralConvention,andthoseservingonnationalcommissionsandcommitteesarenotcompetent,healthy,ororderedintheirtheologyorfoundationalworldview.Itisonethingtolovesinners[asweallare],andtolovethosewithmentalillness[asmanyofushave].Itisanotherthingtore-namepathologiesasgoodandhealthy,toenshrinethosewithsuchpathologiesasleadersofachurch,andtoforceotherstopretendasifdisorderedaffectionsorgenderidentitiesarefunctionalandwholesome.

Everyfoolishanddysfunctionaldecisionourleadersmakeatthenationallevelhasahugeeffectonparishesanddiocesesatthelocallevel.AverageSundayAttendance[ASA]hasplunged23%overthepastdecadeinTheEpiscopalChurchand

16%justinthepastfiveyearsviewthetrendsofthepastfiveyearshere.

Thereisgoodreasonforthatplunge.Parishioners,clergy,parishes,andentiredioceseshaveleftTheEpiscopalChurchasadirectresultoftheseunrelenting,escalatinglyfoolishanddestructivedecisions.Inreturn,thenationalchurchhasspentsome$21milliontosuetorecoverparishproperty,muchofwhichpropertywastitleddirectlytothevestriesoftheparishesfinddetailsofthoseexpenditureshere.

TheEpiscopalChurchisaskingfornineteenpercentoftheaveragetotaldiocesanbudgettogotothisnationalorganizationTheEpiscopalChurchwiththeseleadersmakingthesekindsofdecisions.In2012,$323,881wasbudgetedtosendtothenationalchurchfromtheDioceseofUpperSouthCarolinathats13%ofpledgeincom

ethatcametothediocesefromparishpledgemoneyviewthe2012anddraft2013budgethere.

Tocontinuetofundthisdisordered,incompetent,andunhealthyagendaistocontinuetofundandpromoteatrulyridiculous,andnon-life-givingagendathatwillultimatelykillourchurches.ThereisaveryveryveryveryveryverysmallmarketforthekindofproductthatthenationalEpiscopalChurchoffersandthatispublicizedaroundthecountryastheEpiscopalChurchandmostChristiansandseekerswantnopartofthis.
