Learning at Stafford House
As Director of Studies, it’s my job to ensure all of our programmes are of the highest possible quality, our class sizes are small and that our students leave Stafford House School of English having gained the maximum from their time with us.
Individual approach to learningOur class sizes are small – averaging 10 in a class with a maximum of 14 – so you will have a closer relationship with your teacher than in other schools and experience a faster pace of improvement in your English language development.
Also, every month you will have a one-to-one tutorial with a senior member of staff to make sure you are on track to achieve your goals and fulfil your potential. It’s a good
opportunity to review your course choices and learning methods, and to really make sure you are making the most of your time with us.
DELTA qualified teachersAll of our permanent teaching staff hold a Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults (DELTA) – which is the most advanced and rigorous English teaching qualification available and really demonstrates the commitments our teachers have to language learning.
Flexible programmesOur timetabling system offers a great deal of flexibility and choice. Many of our courses are able to offer start dates every Monday for 50 weeks of the year, and our range of ‘options’ means that when you arrive, you can follow a programme that works for you.
Latest teaching technologyWe have invested heavily in the latest teaching technology, meaning all of our classrooms are equipped with state of the art interactive whiteboards and high speed Wi-Fi. We may have been around for 60 years, but we are as committed as ever to ensuring our classes are relevant, interesting and cutting-edge. I look forward to meeting you soon.
