FOREWORD

Efficient Economic & reliable operation of thermal power station depends on the awareness of

the operating personnel. At the time of take-over on 13th Feb.’92 no such technical dairies were

available, which would help operating personnel to operate the plant confidently. Keeping this in

view the O&E section has prepared Technical Diary (Part-I) for FGUTPP presently having 2 x

210 MW Units, which would provide plant derails & important information to O&M personnel

& other associated deptts. as well as. O&E section is grateful to the concerned deptt. For

extending their sincere co-operation in brining out the diary. Any suggestion to improve the

diary is most welcome to make future diaries more effective.
