Curious about the Catholic Church?
Our RCIA Team would love to meet with you! RCIA
stands for Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults and is
the process for adults who would like to learn more or
join the Catholic Church. Contact Christina at
[email protected] for more information. Looking for Baptism for your Child? We are happy to help! Here is a little information about baptism at St. Peter: First time parents are expected to attend one Baptis-
mal preparation session. Sessions are usually offered monthly (or by request). Parents can attend before the baby’s birth. If you come afterwards, your baby is wel-come to come with you.
If your child preparing for baptism is 2 ½ or older, we will offer a family baptismal preparation with you and your child together.
After the first session, we offer online resources that parents and godparents can view at home.
For returning parents, we offer a family baptismal preparation session with the parents and the big brother/big sister (if desired). In addition, we have cop-ies of the book Child’s Guide to Baptism by Sue Stan-ton, that you may borrow to read to your older child(ren).
To register for a baptismal preparation session or for more information, please contact the church office at 527-8282 or [email protected] .
Please join us for a St. Peter's Parent Party!

EASTER SUNDAY (B) April 1, 2018
Acts 10: 34a, 37-43; Psalm 118; 1 Corinthians 5: 6b-8;
John 20: 1-9
From today’s Gospel reading:
On the first day of the week, Mary of Magdala came to the
tomb early in the morning, while it was still dark, and saw
the stone removed from the tomb.
Reflection: What and where are the empty tombs for us? Relationships that have died, or dried up; pursuits and ambitions that have proven vain and wasted; misplaced confidences in what was shallow and fruitless; nostalgic attempts to re-create the warm and good feelings we had when we were children coming to church on Easter Sunday?
So we ask ourselves:
= Does the empty tomb remind us of the places and situa-
tions in our lives which have proved lifeless and left us
empty inside?
= Do I believe that Christ is alive and with me as I peer
into the empty tomb?

them in a walk of faith to the National Civil Rights Muse-

memoration. Dominican Friars and Sisters from all over
