MORE ANNOUNCEMENTS
After the 8:30 am Mass on Sunday, the choir will lead us in the chanting of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. The Legion of Mary is providing the prayer cards so you can participate in this powerful prayer that Our Lord wishes everyone to say, and to obtain extraordinary graces!
April 21, Saturday, at 8:30 am, is the WALK FOR LIFE for the Culpeper Pregnancy Center! It is a way that individuals, couples and families can participate to help raise awareness of the center and funds needed for that center to save lives. Food, music, activities and balloons will be part of the event which includes a pre-planned 1.5 mile walk around the streets of Culpeper. At the entrance to St. Peter's, there is a table with brochures so you can sponsor a St. Peter's walker or become a walker yourself, or you can register online (iWalk4Life.org). If you cannot make this event, you can still be a walker around your neighborhood! Please participate in this to save the lives of babies, born and unborn, and their parents! For more information, contact J. Beattie (987 -8315 or [email protected]).
CALLING KNITTERS & CROCHETERS!

$1065 RAISED FOR IMPRINT HOPE I just received news from Marie Miller that, thanks to your generoisity, $1,065 was raised for
IMPRINT HOPE. Marie had talked at the masses on Palm Sunday about this organization in Uganda that cares for and advocates for children with disabilities. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
RETIREMENT I will be retiring as Pastor in June. This summer, I will turn 71 and will complete 45 years of parish
work. In retirement, I will live at the priest's retirement villa in Annandale. In retirement, I will continue to be very active as a priest-helping out in parishes, remaining Spiritual Director for the Cursillo Movement, continuing with the Catholic Healing Ministry of The Diocese. I also look forward to
exploring new ministries like the Kairos prison ministry. I have loved my 4 years of ministry at St. Peter's and I will not be a stranger-if you invite me-I will come! Before I leave in June, I hope to
have some going away/retirement celebration like a picnic.
