CAFOD: Non-uniform day tomorrow. Bring £1 for CAFOD

CLASS 2 WORSHIP: Tomorrow at 9.15am in the hall.

CORONAVIRUS: We have a number of measures in place: No holding hands in worship as we would normally do or when lining up; additional hand washing at the start of the day and after lunch as well as at the usual points; children may bring a named water bottle to drink from rather than using our school beakers. We receive regular updates from the Government Department for Education and are following their advice.

Our new Virtue to live by:

I know God’s greatest commandment

This week we have been thinking about how we can show love to God and others. We talked about finding our Bible at home and reading some of it. Perhaps this weekend you could find time to sit

together and listen to God’s Word.

A great week by Classes 3, 4, 5 and F2. They are moving along our monopoly attendance board. Class 4 enjoyed their attendance award today –

film and popcorn! Well done!

LET’S GET READINGToday is World Book Day and the children have received a token which can be exchanged for a book at a number of shops including Asda and Morrisons. Please make sure you give them the opportunity to do this and share the book together at home. Yesterday we had a Reading Café for our Foundation Stage families and children. The turnout was fantastic. Please remember that reading with your child everyday makes a significant difference to your child’s life long education.

PROJECT FUNDEach term we request that you make a voluntary contribution to our school through the Diocesan Contributions Scheme. This is a very important source of funds as all Voluntary Aided Schools like ours must fund 10% of any capital expenditure they wish to make.
