This week’s exciting sentence type

This week’s example of an Exciting Sentence is a “2 Pairs Sentence”

This type of sentence can help you describe a situation in lots of detail! It is made up of two pairs of related adjectives. Each pair is followed by a comma and then an 'and'.Examples:

Excited and curious, impatient and restless, the class at St. Mary’s could not wait for the new school to be built.

Delighted and proud, thrilled and satisfied, Sarah was very happy with her maths results.

Federation Choir Competition

This Saturday sees the joint choir compete for the first time this year. They are performing 2 songs at the Coulsdon and Purley Choir Competition on Saturday morning. The children have been practicing very hard and it should be a special experience.

I know many parents are already planning to attend. For those of you who wish to watch the children and show your support, the competition will take place this Saturday from 10.10-11.30am at:
