Children's Liturgy of the Word - Volunteers Needed
Do you have a gift for story-telling or a passion for teaching young children? Are you creative, entertaining or just enjoy sharing your faith? We need YOU! The Children's Liturgy of the Word
team is seeking volunteers (seniors in High School or older) to help at the 9:00am Sunday Masses. This program provides mean-ing and color to the weekly Scripture readings. Volunteers are typically scheduled for one Sunday a month, but volunteer for as little or as much of your time as you can share. Leaders are need-ed for preschool, K-2nd grade or 3rd-5th grade levels. Lesson ideas are provided. For more information, please contact Larry Cardani ([email protected]).
St. Mary’s Choir will begin its new fall season on Sunday, September 22nd singing at the 11am Mass.
We here at St. Mary’s Church are extremely fortunate to have such a dedicated, talented and committed choir. The four section choir, which includes about 20 singers, meets Sunday morning at 9:00am in the school library for a 1-½ hour rehearsal and then contributes spiritual music at the 11:00am Masses.
New members are always welcome. While musical training and experience are helpful, the desire to sing is paramount. Making music for your parish community can be a profound experience to those who are willing to give it a try
If you would like more information about joining the choir con-tact Rick Vacca at 508-753-0230 or ([email protected]) - or Christine Carter ([email protected]) Or just stop up to the choir loft and introduce yourself! All Are Welcome…..
WEDDING CONGRATULATIONS We extend our Congratulations, Best Wishes and Prayers to Sarah Keiler & Nate Staples who were married here at St. Mary’s last weekend. May God bless their marriage and life together as husband and
wife.
The Cluster Book Club will be meeting on Sep-tember 12th at 7 pm in St. Anne's rectory. We are reading the book "Personal Transformation and a New Creation: The Spiritual Revolution of Beatrice Bruteau". All are welcome. If you have any questions, call Tom Schonhoff at 774/262-6174

Dear Clergy and Parishioners,
Shrewsbury Human Services Food Pantry located at St. Anne’s Church appreciate your donation to help with the purchase of gift cards and school supplies for our “Back to School Campaign.” Your charitable gift provided us with the resources to help Shrewsbury students in need.
The students value your donations and help them with the tools to succeed in school. We are fortunate as a community to ad-dress the problems of many families in our community.
We believe in the sense of community and respect the intrinsic worth of each person and treat them judiciously and with com-passion. We respect their lives, worries ad stories and work to-ward better servicing our clients.
Thank you for helping us with our mission to do God’s teaching and work by helping others.
Peace and love, Elaine LeBlanc Director
