ceive 1st Holy Communion this Sunday morning at St. Samuel’s with

Grace Scott, Rachel Smith and Olivia Waye. The following received this sacrament at St. Mary’s last weekend: Emma Casey, Henry
Lissok, Avriana MacLean, Kamryn Manderson, Riley Matchett, Derek Morrison, Reid
Park, Jonah Silliker, Austin Thebeau, Ryan Waterbury, Dryden Wellwood, and Alexan-

Sts. Peter & Paul Breakfast- Our first of the season will be at the Father Morriscey Centre, on
Mother’s Day, May 12th from 9 - noon. Adults $7.00. Children under 12 free.

St. Samuel’s Men’s Group hosts a 45’s card party each Sunday evening beginning
at 7 pm in the church hall. Cost $5 - no partner required. Everyone welcome!

Desjardins Wilkens' husband, Mark Wilkens will be speaking from his perspective about Cyndi's
struggles with flesh-eating disease (necrotizing fasciitis). This is an inspiring story about two indi-
viduals in faith, overcoming overwhelming obstacles in their lives together. This is a free event
(free-will offering will be taken). (They will also be at this years’ Leadership Breakfast)

The Columbian Ladies Yard & Bake Sale will be held on May 18th from 8 am to 12
noon at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Campbell Street. Donations of items would be
greatly appreciated and can be dropped off during any Friday Bingo or Thursday, May
16th from 1-5 pm. Thank you.
The Parish has secured Summer Student Grant funding and will be hiring for posi-
tions at Sts. Peter & Paul, St. Samuel’s and St. Mary’s in the near future. If you know
