This Week’s Schedule
Acts: The Spread of the Kingdom
Tuesdays, 6:00-8:00pm
in East Classroom
The Acts of the Apostles provides us more than a history of the First Christians - it is the story about the Early
Church with the Holy Spirit as the protagonist. Christ did not leave His Apostles alone - He sent the Holy Spirit to guide, instruct and equip them. Enrich and deepen your faith as you learn how the Apostles continued Christ’s mission on earth through the Power of the Holy Spirit.

• Why is Easter on a different date every year? It's all based on the lunar cycle. It was agreed in AD 325 that all the Catholic Churches would celebrate Easter on the Sunday following the first full moon after the spring equinox.
• The Mass of the Lord's Supper is the last time an official Mass is to be celebrated in a church until the Easter Vigil on Saturday.
• Good Friday is one of the most unusual days in the Church calendar as it is a period of mourning. It's the only day of the year where the Eucharist is not celebrated at all. The altar is stripped bare and the main tabernacle is empty so the focus is simply on the cross.
The angels are almost done!
Here is a photo of our hand carved
angels. They still need to finish the
wings and then stain them to match
the statues in our church, but they are coming along! The Parish Office will be closed for the
Holy Triduum, Thursday, April 18-Monday, April 22.
