Hi everyone,
I hope all our dads had a great Father’s Day on Sunday.
Only a week and a half now until the holidays and it looks like the weather is shaping up to be glorious for the
two-week break. I’m heading to Brisbane for a workshop on assisting children with Conflict Resolution and
hopefully to pick up some great ideas to share with the kids.
If you have found the Technology information I have been sending home, useful, you may want to borrow a
book from our school library called “The Dark Side of Technology” written by Brad Huddleston. Brad was the
speaker at the meeting held at Carmila SS on how parents can guide their children carefully when using
internet-related technology. It’s available from our library for anyone to read. Just let us know via your child
and we can arrange to send it home.

Our focus this week is ‘Be Safe in the Playground/Oval’.
As we are in the final weeks of preparation for Soccer, we
are learning to follow the rules and listen to the referee,

Until next week,
Chappy Kari
