PRAYING THE NEWS
March 6, 2016
I sought the LORD, and he… delivered me from all my fears.
Psalm 34:5
O God, it seems that as a state and a nation some rely on personal weapons
more than on you. We fear each other, expect the worst, and fight to
carry powerful firearms anywhere and anytime. Is this your way? Help us, Lord, to actively trust in you. Please
help us live out our belief that all lives are in your hands, and to follow your
call to be true peacemakers.
Amen. †
