Dear Parish Family,

I want to express a fond and affectionate farewell to one of our

very special ministry leaders. Kourtney Paiz, the leader of our

Journey of Faith Ministry will be moving to the city of Portales, New

Mexico as the Director of Annual Giving at ENMU. Kourtney, her

husband, Sixto, and their little boy, Beaux, have been members of

St. John’s since 2016. They will be missed for their dedication to

the parish and their love and devotion to the Lord.

On behalf of our parish family I want to express my thanks to

Kourtney for her leadership and ministry. Please pray for Kourtney,

Sixto and Beaux as they leave us to join a new community. And

may the Lord bless them and keep them in the palm of His loving

hands.

Fr. David

The following is a note that Kourtney asked that I share with you:

Parish Family-

Thank you so much for loving our family. We have

been truly blessed by each of you. Thank you for

allowing me to come into the Catholic Faith here and

then help others on their journey. We will miss this

parish and the people, but will be back to visit. Again,

thank you for caring for our family.

Blessings to each of you,

The Paiz family!
